Marie is fantastic! I start with that because I had to look long and hard to find any recommended names in these reviews. I had low expectations after reading reviews so I was very pleasantly surprised! She had a few unique techniques that I loved and just overall a very skilled massage therapist. Will definitely be returning to see her! Everyone at the front was super welcoming and helpful, as well.

Great massage, but worst customer service!!!! When I went there for the first time they were pushing me to get the membership so hard!!! I did it. But guess what!!!??? When I’m trying to schedule an appointment the closest one, is in a month!!!! Really!!!! So when you gonna have a back pain and you want massage…. be kind!!!! Wait month please my advice NEVER EVER GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE!!!! It’s WORTHLESS!!!

I saw Alexa for the first time for a 90 minute massage and the only thing I’m disappointed about is that I didn’t find her sooner! She’s friendly, professional and targeted every area that I was hoping she would. I also appreciated that she didn’t talk to me the entire time during my massage which really allowed me to relax and enjoy. If your are looking for relaxation and great massage, book with Alexa and you won’t be disappointed!

Up until today I had above average experience with massages. Unfortunately, today was very upsetting. I got a call the day before to confirm my massage. I told them that I might have to cancel and I’ll call back if I have to cancel. I made adjustments to make my appointment the next day. I’m in my car heading to Massage Envy and looked at my phone and seen that they sent me a text stating that they canceled my appointment. Now, maybe it’s my fault for not calling back, but there is a cancelation fee if I didn’t make the appointment. I live 20 minutes away from Massage Envy. Between where I live and where they are located, there are other places I could get a massage at. I will be canceling my membership with this incident for this shows me, in my opinion, that they don’t understand the importance of keeping a reservation/appointment. It’s too bad because I did enjoy one of their massage therapist a lot.

I was given a gift card from a friend cause my mother has recently passed away. I asked for a firm/ deep massage and to focus on my shoulders and back. I got a freezing lotion/ freezing hand light massage to my legs. After I said I didn’t like my legs being touched. I told the front desk and she offered for me to come back another time and pay for another massage with another therapist. I was so looking forward to this massage. It was a waste of my time and my very caring friends money. I am so disappointed with my massage there( Maui). Such a bummer, cause I really needed that massage.

I can’t get enough of Massage Envy Hawaii and the Maui location is no exception! Everything from the ambience to service makes my experience blissful. I enter a stressed out ball of muscle and leave a zen woman! All of the therapists I have had at ME are fantastic. I have literally never had a bad massage, which I can’t say for those high end spas at the resorts. This is because they know the local community is their heart and want us back for more. I see it and feel it with every visit! Thanks for all you do to keep me zen Massage Envy! My family appreciates it too…I’m much less of a B

Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismPurchased a 1 year membership for my wife. Because of the pandemic they extended members ability to use monthly massages. Long story short, they continued to bill me pass the 1 year membership. I called to cancel and was given some story about not being able to as I did not notify them of the cancellation. So I finished up the month and was told they would call me in january to remind me. . They called and we set up the cancallation. i thought that was the end of the story. Here we are 9 months later, and I realized i’m still being billed monthly. They have records of my conversation in January, but they’re saying that my wife came in April. So because she came in on April, membership is reactivated? My went there and asked if she was still allowed to use unused credit from the membership and the lady said yes. it’s either miscommunication between their workers or a ploy to keep people membership. I told them that i expect to be refunded for payment since January. she shared she has to talk with her boss. lets see how this turns out.Update: Manager returned my call to hear my concern. Believe you me i was seeing “red”, but Emily’s professionalism and straight- up genuine integrity allowed for a pono resolution. I was weary and assumed i was going to deal with a franchise mentality. Instead, I was treated with real aloha. I really wanted to give it a chance to work but Massage Envy was such a disappointment. I have had membership since January and in that time I have had nothing but bad experiences. To therapists that don’t do a good job to ones that only give you 45 minutes when you pay for an hour and one that smelled so bad that it was hard to enjoy the massage. I just called this morning to schedule an appointment with anybody and they cannot even schedule me until later next week. I’m sore now and would really like it in the next couple of days Service is poor and the vibe you get is not welcoming. Every other massage therapist I have ever seen has been able to see me in a more timely manner. I DO NOT recommend them and feel sad that it’s not working out. I asked to have a manager call me and I was refused. I was given a given a company email. It all feels junk. No Aloha

I usually don’t go to chains like this but got a gift card from my boss and was really looking forward to an hour massage. I booked my appointment a week out and spoke with the staff who recommended Karen. I arrived over 15 minutes early for my massage as they asked since it was the first visit they wanted to go over paperwork with me. Staff member came and sat down with me and entered all my personal info in about 5 minutes then told me I had 10 more minutes to wait and Karen would call me in. I was the only one in the waiting room. 3 more people came in and 1 by 1 I watched each of them be taken back. After waiting 18 minutes I asked a staff member walking by if I would still get the full hour since we were not starting on time. She told me she would check. After a few minutes another staff member asked me my name again. A couple minutes later the young woman who originally took my information came and told me yes I would get my full hour and she would get Karen for me. 5 more minutes go by and I hear the staff member on the phone leaving a message for Karen. Over 20 minutes after my massage and 35 minutes after I arrived the woman who checked me in came and told me Karen had not come in to work at all that day and there was no one to give me a massage. She said I could have a facial if I wanted. At this point I was very upset, told her that I was no longer in the best frame of mind for a massage, just wanted to leave and asked if she would refund my gift card back. She said no she couldn’t do that. She was insistent that I use the card another time. I asked how could she not know that the therapist was not there and she blankly looked at me and said uh huh. I asked for the manager and she finally gave me 2 ladies’ names but said they were not there. She said they would call me that night. No one ever called. If I hadn’t showed up they would have charged my credit card. I don’t understand why they won’t refund my money when they didn’t show up! I spent an hour going to a massage on my day off that never happened. What a scam. This was my first experience with Massage Envy and not a good one.
