The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star review is that they should let you know that it is technically a 50 minute massage and not an hour. This is typical of many spas but for the prices they charge I found it ridiculous.

Been going here over a year for multiple treatments and I’m always thrilled with the outcome. I’ve dyed my hair multiple colors and each time my hair has felt healthy and the colors are so vibrant. I trust the stylist input for the cut and its always very flattering. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a new stylist.

Over the last year they call and cancel my appointments almost half the time. This has happened probably 5 times to me. They cancel the day of, or one time while I was driving to the appointment, so 10 minutes before the start time. You have to book them weeks in advance and then plan your schedule around it and then to cancel and they can’t get you back in for weeks. So frustrating. They say it is because they are short staffed, but why are they booking the appointment for a specific person if they are not available on that day?

The front desk staff is awesome. They call and/or text to remind you of your appointment and do the same each month to confirm your dues have been deposited. They greet you by name and are friendly, and professional. The entry is sparkling clean and neat, and smells heavenly. The waiting area is dimly lit and the aroma of massage oil and soothing music helps you unwind. The wait is never more than a few minutes. When you get a good masseuse it is great. But they are not all trained the same, so sometimes you get a less than good massage. Once you find a good one on staff, they usually don’t stick around more than a year. The pay isn’t that great. Also, over the course of our membership the monthly fee has gone from $39 to 59. After your massage, when you are leaving, you have the option to leave a tip, schedule another massage (which will be discounted by $10 after your first massage of the month), and within an hour you’ll receive an email in which you can confidentially rate your massage. Any comments of concern are answered in a timely manner by email, and a sincere attempt to rectify the problem is made. My husband and I recommend Massage Envy, and by the way, the second member of your family has reduced membership dues!

Clean and relaxing environment in the waiting area. Staff is nice. My husband and I had a couples massage. One of the masseuse was nervous and inexperienced, the other was overbearing and spoke in a creepy tone. The experience was very corporate feeling and not very personal. At the end the cashier was trying to get us to sign up for a membership. It was a little so scripted sounding. I recommend this to anyone who likes to be trendy.

I went in yesterday with my mid back and shoulders lightly in discomfort. I have had 100’s of great massages in my life from private massage therapist… but I will never return to Massage Envy. I left in more pain than arriving. I had a terrible night sleeping from mass pain in my shoulder. Seemed like the massage therapist was more interested in being a bad chiropractor than a good massage therapist. The worst part is that I have a big job interview in a couple hours. I thought a massage would help me sleep great and feel super refreshed for my life changing opportunity. Unfortunately l am very sleep deprived and in mass pain. I have no prior shoulder or back injuries.
