Made appointment for massage about 2 weeks prior to appointment time and when I go to check out I was informed the prices were increased the day before appointment. I was definitely not happy. I feel I should have been charged old price due to making appointment in advance. Also thought about signing up for membership before price increased due to additional massage costs a real discount not just $ 10 off. Which is more than I can budget now. Oh and $120 non member price. Are you kidding me

Reviews are true and confirmed by the staff; the massage time includes getting ready and getting dressed after. They put the cost of doing business on the client rather than spacing appointments to allow the full massage time. This is not standard practice and if you go anywhere else, they do not do this. The indicated time should be the entire massage time. Ha… Charge me to dress myself? You have to be joking.

I don’t like the fact that during December aaand January they kept boiling me and kept canceling. Then they told me they can’t reschedule me. B.s!

Had the worst experience ever. Came back home with an even more sore back. I had repeatedly asked for a postpartum massage and if any therapists knew how to do it as not everyone understands prenatal and postartum. The girl who answered my call said that anyone can do it even though I wasn’t convinced. Your body isn’t the same pre & post are normally so that was a lie. I work in the spa industry and not every therapist is comfortable doing that.

Every time I call the customer service representatives (front desk people) sound like robots. They have extremely poor listening skills and sound as though they are forced to speak off a script. In addition, I have had over 10 massages at massage envy and all but one have been awful. Examples: The therapist have finished the sessions with 20 minutes to spare. Once a therapist didn’t even give a fully body massage and said we can do your other half when you book another appointment. The therapists have been late, applied far too much pressure after repeatedly asking for them to lighten the pressure (so much that I have come out with bruises and or feel worse after the massage) or the opposite apply extremely light pressure the entire time after repeatedly asking for more firm pressure. Further the therapists are not chiropractors nor doctors and should not be forcefully manipulating my neck or nerves. I have had this happen on several occasions including the most recent. I am very polite to all therapist and always tip but being pressured to tip by the front desk staff after an awful, painful massage in which I can’t wait for it to end is unprofessional. They always ask how the massage was as they are looking away or down at the computer, again, sounding like robots on a script they could honestly care less about my true experience. Once I said, “the massage was actually painful and the opposite of relaxing” to which the front desk gal replied, “that’s great, would you like to leave a tip for your therapist.” For this, among other reasons, I would never recommend Massage Envy to another person. In fact I would steer anyone I know away from getting any services at massage envy.

I had a great experience with Felicia, she greatly helped my lower back pain with just one session. I am looking forward to future sessions now that I have a membership. I agree with everyone else that it’s bologna that you advertise an hour massage but the first 10 minutes and last 10 minutes are for changing clothes. Who takes 10 minutes to change clothes? I also need to look into the charges on my account as I opened it on 2 Jan 2019 and at my appt today (30 Jan) I was told I needed to pay, when this was my first one. Overall, it was a great experience and Felicia was professional, courteous, friendly, and very helpful for my back pain, I will definitely be going back to her in the future.

The massage was great! But after she was done she told me to get up nice and slowly and she left the room. I turned my head and I STILL HAD 20 MIN LEFT ☹ when you pay 70 $ for a one hour massage and only get a 40 minute massage AND have to give them a tip.. yeah they suck. I want my full hour..

The 60 minute massage is a 50 minute. The 90 is 80. The therapist States when the massage begins and ends. Ask for a recommendation from the front desk staff based on the pressure desired. Be specific to the pressure you like, do not make the mistake thinking deep tissue massage is suited for everyone. Then during the session let the therapist know if to increase or decrease the level of pressure based on the threshold for that area of your body. And BREATHE,like exercising, breathing correctly will elevate how effective the massage session will be!

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityAmazing experience here, I had a male masseuse whos name started with a T,( im horrible with names). Everyone was very professional and the massage was extremely relaxing. I would go there again for sure, but only down side is its a little pricey.

They rush you through like cattle. Paid for a 60 minute massage, but the last 10 minutes are allotted for you to get dressed. That’s a 50 minute massage, don’t advertise it as 60. It is not relaxing when you feel so rushed.
