EDITED: i originally gave a 1/5 star review after my first massage here after having an awful experience, but management reached out to me and rescheduled me with a different therapist, Brandy, and the massage was amazing. I’m glad this was righted, as I would have never revisited after my first massage here, but will be back as Brandy was amazing.

Worst location hands down. They have cancelled my appointment same day 4 times in a row. Every time I reschedule, even with a different therapist, same thing. Not to mention my very first appointment there, same thing. I won’t be taking the chance of scheduling again because when locations are booked out and you’re in pain and make an appointment you really look forward to it. Now I understand situations come up as I was understanding the first 2 times, but really EVERY single appt/therapist……

I have tried for 2 weeks to close my membership…. Apparently you need a MANAGER to close an account, and of course the MANAGER is never available. I have spoke with her on the phone but I am sure they are trying to delay this simple procedure to try and collect another monthly fee of $70. So, now be warned, it is at the WHIM of a MANAGER that they grant your request. Next is a complaint to their corporate, but of course they are the individuals who hire these incompetent individuals. Then the Better Business Bureau…..

I haven’t been in a while to the Stockton location due to several changes in staff. I took a chance and scheduled a much needed appointment. I am so glad I did. My massage therapist was wonderful. He worked on all my pain points. I will definitely be signing up for a membership so that I can experience all the new staff. Thank you for making me free better.

Don’t ever EVER sign up for a membership. I repeat. Don’t sign up for the membership. They will not let you cancel!!! I fulfilled my contract, paying for a whole full year (12 months) while barely going because I could not afford the tips but did not want to stiff the hard workers. When it came to time to cancel, however, I showed up at the store, and guess what? The front desk girl did not have authority to cancel!! Yeah right, they could sign you up but could not cancel you. And there is no cancellation form whatsoever that was mentioned in the contract! I need to wait for a manager to get back to me in 1 week, which would NOT happen.

I have been to several Massage Envy location and today’s customer service was horrendous at the Blue Ravine locations. I booked an appt for my mom and I. This is my third time at this location b/c I feel that Amanda gives good massages. After I checked in they told me that I was with Denise, Amanda had another appt and masseuse requested the change. I asked for more information as to why the change and that they should have notified me in advance instead of having me drive 30-45 mins to this location.

HORRIBLE experience. I am a single mom to twins and so my free time is very limited. I was SO excited to come in this morning for my 90 minute massage that I had booked at the beginning of the week, so much so that I got up early on my only day off and drove all the way to folsom from downtown. When I arrived the black lady who claimed to be the “manager” at the front desk, informed me she had no appointment for me and when I was visibly upset she proceeded to tell me it was my fault it wasn’t booked properly and that I should have known I would receive a confirmation text when it was actually booked. She was dumber than a box of rocks and repeatedly mocked and laughed at me. I left in tears and would honestly never come back. Massage Envy needs to reconsider who they hire because they are driving business away with their incompetent employees.

Well, its complaint time. Today’s topic; Massage Envy. They debited the wrong account & will not refund my money. I will never ever never ever ever never ever ever ever do business with them again. Oh and Massage Envy, I’m getting all new cards with all new numbers. So go ahead keep trying to debit closed accounts. If I could post this with no stars I would have. and if be chance Massage Envy agree to refund my money, I will agree to re-post a better, more positive review.
