Excellent experience! I was visiting in California and decided to use one of my credits at a nearby Massage Envy. Mary was an amazing therapist ! After working from home for a month being hunched over a computer , Mary was able to get out all the trigger points in my neck and back ! The facility was amazing compared to my Massage Envy at home . I look forward to coming back next time I’m in Palo Alto.

This review is long overdue. Massage Envy is the place I go to relax. I started getting facials with Annie a couple of months ago and she is the best kept secret there. My skin is always glowing afterwards and she knows just how to treat her clients. Her 20+ years of experience definitely shows! My appointment with her was so relaxing I almost fell asleep. Plus, if she’s doing extractions she is super gentle, a plus for my sensitive yet thick skin! Definitely give her a try, you won’t regret it.

Palo Alto Massage Envy has a very cozy winter cabin feel to it that I really enjoy. The waterfall by the waiting room adds a level of tranquility and the environment is overall relaxing even before I start my massage.

Was not very pleased with my experience. The woman at the front desk was very kind and welcoming but my actual service left a lot to be desired. In the online form I had requested for my massage therapist to pay special attention to two specific areas and that did not happen. I know this was not the front desk person’s fault as she confirmed this request with me when I arrived. Also, the first part of the massage was done through the blanket which was super uncomfortable. To top it all off, I had booked a 60 minute massage on the online portal, but my massage was only about 53 minutes long. When I brought this up to the front desk person, she said messages technically are only 50 mins long. While I don’t doubt this, it wasn’t posted anywhere on the website which I found strange.

2 out of 3 times I have received a poor massage. The last one left me with significant neck pain and the therapist put a lot of pressure on parts of the neck that did not require it. Many body parts left out of massage. Only back of leg massages rather than entire leg. Therapist wasn’t able to speak English so had a very difficult time communicating my needs. Requested 3x during session not to touch a certain body part because of surgery and she consistently did it anyway despite my protest. Again, I believe that was a language barrier. Front office staff are really nice and accommodating but massage therapy quality is definitely hit or miss.

With regular routine appointments, as he continually learns your body and challenges more stretch for optimal flexibility; I always get up feeling much better and more flexible and less tight muscles that when I walked in, thank you Steven!

I did and update to the rating it is now. The facials are great with Sandy but she’s in the mountain view location now. I saw that a person commented about an employee coughing a lot, I know exactly who you are talking about and that terrifying. The massages are not worth the price at all. You are better off going to a training school to receive service. I’m stuck with a year membership, they gave me a book of coupons that everytime I go in to try to use one, they give me one reason or another why I can’t. I’ve had employees leave to go grab something in the other room and left the door open while I was on the bed. I’ve had a horrible massage that left my body sore for almost two weeks (this was at the mountain view location). I can’t wait for my membership to expire, I wished I could have my money back for the terrible experiences but what can you do. I’ve been receiving massage here for so long but the service now is absolutely low quality with lack of skills, and not worth it. It’s clean though and the front desk staff are very nice. I really, really hate my membership here.
