Critical: CommunicationThis has been by far one of the worst memberships/costumer service experience have ever had. Where do I even begin?!To start, I purchased this membership when I became pregnant as I am in a profession that requires me to be on my feet and is quite physical. There were only two massage therapist that were “qualified” to preform prenatal massages, one of which gave me a very poor massage and the talked during the entire session. The other was booked solid and I was never able to get an appointment with her.So I was referred to the Burlingame location, which was just as bad. The prenatal massage therapist there refuse to use any pressure as she explained that her training would allow her to do any pressure on pregnant women?! Weird, cuz this was my second pregnancy and I had many prenatal massages prior with pressure and me and my baby were just fine. Needless to say I ended that massage 10 minutes into her basically rubbing the surface of my skin. Was extremely frustrating now having visited two locations and still no one to give a proper prenatal massage.Fast forward a year into the membership…I paid the fees every month thinking I would just use them after my baby came. The pandemic then hit and decided not to renew. I then canceled the membership as I was told to do so it would not automatically renew. Now trying to use my previous credits, I’ve been told that because I didn’t use them within 60 days after canceling the membership( which no one communicated at the time to me) that 9 months worth of credit was now gone!? Seriously?!Wow, what a racket they have here. They’ll take your money every month even if they can’t provide you the services you need. And then expect you to use almost a year’s worth of credit in two months just because you don’t want to continue your membership?!And forget trying to talk to management. You call and leave messages and they tell you someone will call you back but they never do. Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityYes, the Daly City location is open!The moment I walked in I was greeted warmly by Sophie and Mahum who were working the front desk. We were all wearing masks, safety first!, but their eyes were definitely smiling.The waiting room is well spaced, and comfy, and everything was clean.Feng gave me a magnificent 90 minute massage. She asked if there was anything in particular I was having issues with, and she went to town on my shoulders and back. I feel like a brand new person. It was a deep tissue but gentle massage, loved it.I stopped by the front desk on the way out to chat with Sophie and Mahum about questions I had regarding my membership and they were so nice and helpful. I had a wonderful experience at Massage Envy in Daly City. The front desk was very friendly and helped answer all my questions and concerns around the pandemic. My massage therapist did an amazing job and I even got some enhancements to go along with my session! While checking out I was warmly greeted by the manager, Ashley who helped me to become a member.
