Didn’t realize that I added a foot spa option which would have made my massage shorter than normal, but they let me change it in the middle of a massage which allowed me to enjoy the massage better. Next time I will add the foot spa where 90 minutes session instead of 60 minutes session. There is a bank across the street if you need cash to provide a tip in cash

Critical: ProfessionalismI made a appointment that was supposed to cost 80 dollars and missed it. I was not advised by the front desk of the fee for missing a appointment. When I got the voicemail it stated the fee would be the full amount which to me is not fair one due to the fact the service never occurred and two they charged me 130 instead of 80. When I called the lady I spoke to happened to be the owner refused to refund me or reduce it to the correct amount. She said even tho her masseuse never did the massage she would be paid for it. I told her I would call corporate and she responded that they are just a answering team and will direct you back to me. I advised her you have to let people know that when they book the potential fees which she failed to due she said she would Call back tomorrow which I waited for her to do before leaving this review. Previously I would have said front desk personnel a 5 star. However my experience today really changed all that. I called to schedule 1.5 hour massage with Miguel. I know he’s usually booked so I was excited to know that he was available. My experience with others doing my massages at your location has not been as relaxing as with Miguel. Laura in the front desk said “I can’t accommodate your request for the hour in a half because he needs to be booked continuously to not have a gap in his schedule.” I didn’t understand her statement since I was booking the last available time in order to get as much time available. Laura proceeded to say “if we don’t book him before you come in we will accommodate your request.” I’ve been a member of massage envy over 5 years and have never had this issue. So the masseuse’s schedule is more important than the clients request for an hour in a half??? This is not acceptable. If he’s available and I’ve ALREADY PAID IN ADVANCE then accommodate my need. This is not acceptable since I don’t get to say “I’ll only pay you for one hour and if I need the half hour extra I’ll pay you if I decide to use it when I come in.” Considering going to a different location where my needs are better met. Shameless and disappointed.

My reservations were a mess. Went in and they told me they didnt have me in the system but yet i had all confirmation texts. Made me waste gas.. couldn’t see me that tuesday. They wanted me to go back friday. Lady at front desk was more intrested in selling me the membership when all i wanted was my massage. Very disappointed manager knew and didnt do anything. They just wanted to reschedule me

For the price point ($125 +tip) the massage i got was very mediocre. It’s always a hit or miss at massage envy. Fully depends on the location. I never get the areas i need massaged, even if clearly specify it. Also, fast and pinchy. Ugh.

I do not know why people give negative reviews over phone calls or the appearance of the place. My experience was fantastic. Was my first massage. The call was great. The place looks perfect. Marlene gave me a incredible massage and if I could give 10 stars I would. Do not rate this place other people’s reviews, the massage experience is awesome here. Thumbs up. Sherman oaks is my hometown.

Thumbs up to this place!! It was super clean and very calm. The front desk was very friendly and my therapist Maura was amazing. When you check in they ask you some questions on an iPad as what kind of massage I need and which areas should they focus. The therapist then confirms my choices before starting. She was very professional and very firm in her massage.
