0 STARS! I received a massage with Shuying and it was horrible. Towards the end of the massage, she was pulling my arm out and made my nipple slip out, shortly after she said “It’s not my fault, you’re just tall.” That was very unprofessional and I felt violated. I spoke to the front desk associate Taylor about it and she said she would tell her managers to give me a call about the incident the next day. She said her managers names are Dez and Jackie, neither of them called. Luckily I had a $70 gift card and only ended up coming out of the pocket for the additional $5, I will upload a copy of my receipt. If they valued their customers they would take matters like this seriously. Never again!

They need major improvements with the staff’s competence, planning, and communication skills. Rachel had problems pulling up the form I was asked to fill out upon my arrival. she also had an phone number listed on my account that wasn’t mine. I was booked for a 9am appointment, which is the time they open. Today was my first time at Massage Envy in Hermosa Beach and I only got a 46-48 minute massage even though I paid for a 60 minute massage. I wasn’t informed prior to coming in that I would have to fill out paperwork, and arrived at 8:55am even though the door didn’t open until 9am. Rachel asked me to sit down to fill the from out yet she held it the entire time, reading through most of the questions out loud, as opposed to giving me the form to fill out quickly on my own. It was already after 9:10am when my masseuse Brandon started my deep tissue. He is AMAZING but the staff member who coordinated caused a delay in my massage time, as well as didn’t coordinate a better time so I could come in earlier to fill a form out. I had no idea I was supposed to fill one out or else I would have booked a more appropriate. I’m waiting for the manager to contact me, and will update this review accordingly once I hear back from her.

Parking in the Pavilion is kinda nuts, but, meh, it’s free. I had a great massage with Branden. Receptionists were friendly despite being very busy.

Good customer service, massage was good and relaxing. I felt too covered up during the massage. I had a sheet draped over me as well as a blanket. I felt too restricted. The masseuse was kind and attentive. They are a bit pricey for what is offered. There was some horse trading upon check out regarding their memberships. I was just interested in using the gift card I received as a gift. The facility is very zen and calming.

Ask for Brandon. He’s also been a physical therapist and is fantastic. I have chronic neck/jaw pain and he gave a very helpful massage for this. Definitely going back soon!

Nice place for an average massage, but most therapists are too inexperienced to do any good. They had one good massage therapist with several years of experience in deep tissue and sports, but she left. If you need a serious massage, look elsewhere. If you want a basic relaxation massage with no real therapy, maybe this place will work for you..

The worst Massage Envy I have ever visited. My therapist was not friendly , the massage was the worst. Never complain management will flag you on a list, to not be excepted without you even knowing.
