DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON PRE BUYING GIFT CARDS OR PACKAGES THEY OFFER. If I could leave a zero stay and still review I would do so. I have a gift card and have been trying to set up a massage time for months! They are always booked. I asked today to get schedule for Dec. since they are booked out through November. She said call back AGAIN on Oct. 1st. My mom has the monthly services and she put her service on hold since she could never get in to use the 2 free massages she has built up. If she cancels she looses her 2 free massages she has earned. ???

The poor rating doesn’t reflect the facial services, which are wonderful and for which I am actually ABLE TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT. The rating (which would be 0 stars if I could) is for the massage services that I HAVE YET TO BOOK. I’ve been a member for 2 years and have never had a massage. At a place with ‘massage’ in. The. Name. If I try to book online… There’s nothing available. If I try to book out even a couple months in advance, I can’t do that because the calendar is blocked. So how does one ever book a massage? It appears you have to mark it on your calendar to call in the wee hours two days before the day you want a massage to see if someone has canceled. What in the hell kind of business model is this? I have to basically rely on other people canceling their appointments so that I can get one?? Meanwhile I have a stack of credits that I can’t even use in the one service I want to use them on. Beautiful.

I wish I had read these reviews first. Do not use this membership. It is a scam. They will lie to you at every opportunity to keep you paying them for nothing. They will not give you services, they will not refund your money. They will respond to this asking me to submit this complaint on their website and then they will ignore that. I have sent them 3 messages through their website. I contacted corporate and their response was to forward my complaint to the person who was already ignoring me. Worthless.

Not one to write reviews but I couldn’t let what they are going to people go without notice. Though both therapists I had were absolutely amazing they have terrible customer service on the payment end. I was told that my account would be frozen twice during Covid and it was not. I was charged the entire pandemic except one month. After the pandemic I could not get in with my therapist because her schedule is always full. Then was told they would call me when they are able to schedule the next opening. Never did. I agreed with the previous ownership to put my card on file again when my credits were used and was more than happy to do it. They agreed on that because I had not credits than anyone that has seen and I didn’t trust that I would not be charged without authorization and they understood. New ownership comes in and I am now being told that they will not hold the word of the previous ownership. I have never had a payment issue in the past and wouldn’t in the future. But, the unwillingness to hold the word from before and being ordered to put my card on file is something that I am not willing to do. Trust is earned in drops and lost in buckets. At every turn Massage Envy has thrown buckets of trust out the window. They reference my contract when it benefits them but refuse to withhold the agreement I had with the previous ownership. Their unwillingness to bend and provide the customer service that was promised is quite concerning and warrants a change in companies. Thanks for the 60 days to use the non refundable credits I have and can’t get in bc they’re scheduled so far out. I am out over $500

To All… there is a reason this outfit has a 3.1 rating. I had received a gift card back in April and was told I would be contacted with next available opening… never happened. Reached out today and was told the price has doubled now, so more funds will be due in order to get my massage. Complete joke of a business. Additionally, gift cards are non refundable, so they are in a perfect scam world as they took my money with no outcome. Hahaha, what a poor business. They’ll be done soon, a shame I had to even choose 1 star, need an option for nothing, maybe I missed that part of the rating

This place is absolutely unethical…don’t waste your money. Ihad a gift card for a 60 minute session.. no monetary value anywhere. After my massage, I was told I owed $60, because they raised their prices. Despite my explanation of that’s not how gift cards worked, they would not honor it. Additionally. My massage was only 40 minutes. If i could give zero stars, I would.

It’s hard to get a Massage appointment when I’ve been a member for 10 years. They contacted me since I’m on the waiting list for an appointment and then called and rescheduled to a week later since someone else booked online and I called and booked in person. Not impressed with unavailability of services that I’ve already paid for. They owe me 8 1/2 hours of Massages and I can’t get in to use them. Poor customer service. They don’t handle appointments correctly and system flawed and customer keeps paying for services they don’t get.

This has been the worst membership I could have ever signed up for. I would have two appointments booked, one for a facial and then a massage. I would get there and they had cancelled my facial but didn’t let me know ahead of time. The staff turn over is unreal. I have been through more than I can count on both hands in the 5+ years I have been a member. They ran a special last Christmas for product but because they were out I couldn’t get the free product. I left two voicemails for the supervisor whom never returned my call. Not to mention if you don’t book as far out as possible you can’t get in. Now I might have COVID ask I called in to cancel and follow guidelines. I am told that if they don’t fill my appointment they take 1/2 of my fee for this appointment. What a joke. I am protecting others but being punished. I can’t wait to cancel this ridiculous membership and never go back. WARNING….think long and hard before signing up.

I am not one to leave reviews, but I have no idea how this place is in business. I had been trying forever to get a massage to use up a gift card I was given two years ago. I would definitely never purchase one from here if it was my choice. I called in June as I was told to after there was no availability in all the times I have checked before and I can’t even get in until August. This whole system is a joke. Don’t waste your time, sanity, or money. Looks like many others have this same experience. This goes to show that the business is more concerned about selling memberships and making money for themselves rather than taking care of customers. Pretty sad when they can’t even get those membership clients in, let alone others on the side. They obviously need a better set up and more employees to handle what they are trying to promote the business to be.
