The atmosphere of this location is great. If you have never gone take advantage of the introductory rate. Love the waiting room that you go to after checking in. My masseuse used warm towels to wipe off massage oils which felt great. I will try a different person next visit for hopefully a slightly better fit, but still very relaxing.

I was pressured into becoming a member, the services aren’t up to par for the amount being spent. When I tried to cancel my membership for unsatisfactory reasons I was told canceling membership wasn’t an option unless I had a medical reason. However whenever I call to make an appointment no one ever answers. Im still being charged every month and not being able to make any appointments. Can anyone help?

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI went in for a massage and it really sucked and it was not relaxing at all. To top it off they charged me twice for the services. I called on Monday and Wednesday to get a refund for the double charge and they gave me the run around that the manager would get back to me. I also went in person to try and get my refund and still no phone call back or money back. Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualitySorry- but it’s a hard NO for me. I went the 1st time to check it out and to purchase a massage for a friend. I typically get massages every month so- so I know what to expect and I make those needs known. The first time I had to ask a couple times for the bed warmer to be turned off. Mind you it’s July in Houston. The first time I asked the massage therapist laughed. I had to reiterate, ma’am can you please turn it off, at this point I was moving my legs from underneath the sheets so she obliged. The pressure wasn’t that great even after letting her know she could be a little firmer in the pressure.I paid $190 for my first 1 hour massage and a 1 hour massage for a friend.The second time I returned- was 2 thumbs down.I hate to say it but it felt like I was getting a massage from a 5 year old- meaning it was beyond gentle.A nice little buff -if you’re in to that.I get massages for tension relief. If this is what you’re seeking go somewhere else.I’ll be sticking to Texas Massage and Body Works!Oh and I only got 45 mins. Showed up 5 mins early, waited for the therapist for 10 mins. Then after I slid off my dress in 30 seconds once I was in the massage room. I laid in the bed and waited another 5 mins. This location does not exist anymore. As a member, I had to find out by accident because you cannot book an appointment and their number does not work. A neighboring location was able to inform me that this location closed but they are unable to cancel my membership because only the owner can do so. I reached out to the guest relations email who told me to contact the owner. Well I can’t do that because the location is closed and no one is answering phone calls. I had dispute with my credit card company. Abysmal business practices. The owner should be ashamed of not only letting memberships continue while the location is closed, but not even informing members by phone call, email, or text that the location would be closing. You can’t even edit any details of your membership on the online portal. Corporate is useless. Somehow the corporate number is always busy. What a scam.

The former branch manager Tonya was amazing! She would always greet me with a friendly smile and worked with me to ensure the best service was provided. Currently, I have been dealing with high levels of stress and scheduled a session for 1 hour. My wife and I went to go vote early and ended up standing in line to vote for a lot longer than we anticipated. So as a result, I missed my appointment (barely) and was charged the full amount of the massage that I never received. When I arrived at Massage Envy, I explained to the new clinic manager Traya Monquin, that I have been a loyal customer who has never missed an appointment for years and that I only just missed this appointment because of early voting lines being extremely long. I also explained that they were supposed to call me in advance and I received no call or text. Come to find out Massage Envy called the wrong number to inform me of my appointment. I showed her staff my sticker but Ms. Traya Monquin refused to accommodate me. Traya made no attempt to reason or entertain my suggestion of just rescheduling. She accepted no responsibility for calling the wrong number repeatedly. She wanted to charge me for a completely new session which I think is unprofessional and flat out cruel. It is for this reason that I’m giving this place a bad review. You should always be willing to work with your clients, especially when they are gracious and friendly. She would always greet me with a friendly smile and worked with me to ensure the best service was provided. There is a reason they have such a high turnover rate here. They mistreat their employees and any quality therapist would not be ok with their standards and unhygienic conditions. Male therapist looks under sheets and inappropriately massages under drape and management does not take it seriously and forces other therapists to stay in the room and “look the other way” they care about money over client needs here. If you are a client, be careful and make sure you request a female. If you are a potential employee, look elsewhere.

Poor Customer service. I scheduled an appointment as a gift for someone and they lost it. I understand mistakes happen, so I called them. A simple “sorry for the inconvenience” would have sufficed; but the front desk attendant on the line spent more time trying to prove that I never made an appointment than fix the issue. She hung up on me at some point. Their possible saving grace was the massage was ok. This is my first time ever using their service and I do not feel that I will ever use them again.

This location is a great environment if you are wanting to get away and relax. The employees and the therapist are very humble and knowledgeable in their craft. It’s such a warm and comfortable environment and the front desk ladies put the icing on the cake with their warm welcomes.
