Would give 0 stars if I could. Please PLEASE do not sign up for a membership at Massage Envy, go anywhere else but here. Masseuses are nice and do their job well but the business itself is NOT deserving of your business and they lack flexibility with membership programs. I have heard of so many who have lost credits that they paid with their hard earned money because of how this large company has stopped caring about their customers. I personally lost the remainder of my credits because during COVID they told me my credits would “never expire”. Then I call up to the store and they said this only applies “a year after they opened back up”. Did they magically know when COVID was supposed to end? NO. Did I get an email saying giving me their convenient “new terms of agreement” that they decided randomly throughout the year? NO.

I typically go to a different location but decided to try this one out. I went for a 60 min massage yesterday with Stephen for some regular achy back pain and I woke up today with a huge knot in my neck. I have been keeping heating pads and massage gun on this all day but it won’t budge and has even started to cause a headache. I’m so disappointed bc everyone was so nice and the location was too but I’m not sure what went wrong bc this is not my first rodeo and I’ve never had a pain like this AFTER a massage. 🙁

For the most part, in person I have never had an issue with customer service. On the phone maybe once or twice but the attitudes change I guess one they look in the system and see that I am a member.

The atmosphere is so relaxing. The 90 minute massage was over too soon. I felt amazing. Highly recommend them in firewheel.

Rude customer service. apparently there’s no general manager only an assistant manager who doesn’t know how to do her job correctly. Don’t sign up for the membership. It’s a trap and everyone here just wants your money for commission.

I allowed myself to be trapped into a situation that could have been avoided if ME had competent staff at the City Line location. They call it a 12 month contract, which you are paying every month REGARDLESS of whether or not you use their service. After 3 visits, I decided I no longer want to use the service, nor do I really care for the massage staff at that location, so I wanted out. “Cancelling” a membership involves hoops that make no sense to me as a consumer. When I initially inquired about cancelling, the front desk staff at City Line explained it to me this way: I cannot cancel, but can “freeze” my account for 6 months, then unfreeze and let them charge me one month, then freeze it again until final month, then pay final month, which I assumed then concludes the membership. So now, when I checked in recently on canceling, I was advised by another City Line staff member that “that is not how it works”. If I wish to “cancel”, I either have to show that I moved 35 miles away from my chosen location, or I need a doctor’s note indicating massages are restricted due to health issues. Barring those options, my final option to get out of the contract is to pay the remaining balance (9 payments) of about $500. In other words, unless I can find a helpful doctor or move to Oklahoma, I have to pay out for services I no longer wish to use. I am still awaiting contact from the manager to try and work this out without paying money for a service I no longer want, but it appears I am stuck with no other options that make any common sense. I learned a valuable lesson about a company like ME, and that’s to avoid them at all costs in the future, and make sure people clearly understand the agreement they enter into so they don’t make the same mistake as I did.

Would have given this place a better review if it wasn’t for their disappointing company policies about the credits accrued. My wife and I tried the services for over a year, at the end we spend thousands of dollars only to lose our last two paid credits. One of which we gifted to my mom and paid an additional transfer fee. Based on how they treated us after we canceled our memberships-no willingness to even try and help and how they used their fine print addendums to hide behind, we will never return and will recommend against anybody going to this business.

I have been dozens of times, as I made the mistake of joining their membership program, and I only found one therapist who did a decent job, and then he left so I was stuck with a membership that was essentially worthless, and they refused to let me out of my contract early despite my complaints. I was finally able to cancel my membership after a year, and now they want to charge me double for individual sessions. I can’t recommend Massage Envy – find and support a local individual massage therapist. It is a much better value with much better results.
