The therapist didn’t do what I asked for. Instead of feeling relaxed after massage I felt very sore and my husband too. We had the massage back to back. After massage I tried to explain to the front desk but the two ladies were very rude to myself and my husband. Husband didn’t want to continue with his massage due to my unsatisfactory experience but front desk ladies didn’t offer any solution options. Customer service was very disappointing. Therapist was nice guy but not as experience as I was told when we first scheduled our appointment. I feel like we spend $150 for nothing. It’s only fair to get a refund for that unsatisfactory experience.

Sometime you have an incredible massage and walk away feeling incredibly refreshed! Other times, your massage therapist won’t stop talking the entire time so you can’t actually relax and need to take muscle relaxers for days after because you are in so much pain. It truly depends on who you book with!!

I pay for the yearly membership and I have called multiple times, leaving messages and a call back number to schedule my appointment. I try calling at different times during the day and throughout the week hoping to get a response. I missed last month because no one returned my calls, about to miss out again this month. The service was great but when it was time to pay I felt as if the front desk receptionist didn’t explain the membership program from the beginning very well. After signing she then explained to me that I would be locked in for 12months in a contract and I wasn’t to pleased about that. I booked a couple’s massage for a birthday gift. I chose Massage Envy because I felt that by being a chain would allow greater flexibility and higher standards. During my initial phone call to schedule the staff member provided me a time for my massage and then later had to cancel my morning time and adjust to an afternoon time because they did not have therapist available for a couple’s massage. Prior to our appointment our couple’s massage had to be cancelled by Massage Envy because one of the therapists called in the day prior to our massage. The staff called and informed me that only one of us would be able to receive a massage on our scheduled date. I understand that things happen in life and people get sick, etc., and are unable to make it to work. However, I felt as though massage envy did very little on their part to assist me. Massage Envy expressed to me prior to scheduling the need to cancel within a certain amount of time or else they would charge me the full rate. I feel as though they should also have to abide by such standards for their paying customers in regards to cancellation. All in all it was a very poor experience from a customer service perspective and I will only use local massage clinics in the future.

Update: another major failure. The therapist thought I had travelled internationally. I travelled domestically and drove from FL to NE. I barely got out of the car. Regardless, the therapist didn’t want to proceed with the session. There were no questions about travelling domestically. Even after the manager clarified this with the therapist, the therapist was “spooked” and did not want to continue with the session.
