I went in to receive an hour deep tissue massage with Brian. I was looking forward to this massage and hadn’t really indulged in this type of service since pre-pandemic. I did ask Brian to wear a mask, as I am still a bit timid about exposing myself to any covid related illnesses. I was told by the front desk this was an accommodation that they offered. However, when Brian came in the room he was MASKLESS. I asked if he had been informed of my request and he said that he had and I then repeated my request and asked him to wear a mask. He began the massage. I asked if he could focus on my hands, legs, shoulders and feet. He chuckled and proceeded. He neglected to provide me with a bolster under my ankles when the massage began, which I thought was standard. I noticed that the fan was on and turned up high which made the room cold. I asked if my massage table could be turned on to warm me up. He said ok but it never got warm. I asked again and he said ok but again the table never got warm. The body parts that I asked him to focus on were not serviced more than 5 minutes. When I turned on to my back, I had to ask him to provide me with a bolster under my knees, again I thought this was a standard part of the massage to relieve stress on your lower back. His response was “Oh, you want that?”. I was so cold, I just turned the fan off. Brian promptly turned it back on and up high. RIDICULOUS. I reported this to the manager, she apologized but DID NOT REIMBURSE OR MAKE ANY ATTEMPT TO RECTIFY THE HORRIBLE, and I do mean, HORRIBLE SERVICE I ENDURED.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI received a massage a few days before NYE, the masseuse did a poor job, completely skipped over the knots in my back. He also kept bumping into my jaw and head which was painful. The front desk employees kindly offered me a second massage for free since I wasn’t satisfied.The second massage I went to also went poorly. My masseuse kept stopping in the middle of massaging me to text on her phone. I could hear her nails tapping on a phone and the sound of her setting her phone on the counter. I also heard the sound of a music video go on on her phone.I’m so uncomfortable that she was on her phone while massaging me. Incredibly unprofessional. I love it! Hannah was simply lovely. I felt welcomed and completely comfortable from the moment I entered the building. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and was quite knowledgeable about products and services. And my massage therapist Brian was wonderful as well. He took great care of me and I left feeling like a million bucks. I strained my neck this week and was in a bit of pain so he worked on that area specifically and now the pain in my neck and my shoulders is completely gone.

Trina is my massage therapist and I am always pleased with my visits. She is the sweetest, and very good at communicating with me in order for her to accomplish what I came for. She marks all the boxes for me! I definitely would recommend her to anyone wanting a firm massage.

I am very disappointed in Massage Envy. I was a member for over 2 years, paying a significant monthly fee and decided that I was going to cancel my membership at the end of the year. I was given 2 $100 gift cards as gifts this past holiday seasons and had the worker at the desk put them on my account. Somehow the money was not properly put onto my account and I didn’t have the physical cards anymore. Only 1 gift card was showing up on my account. I also had points on my account from being a regular customer. When I called in to inquire about how many sessions I had left and how much money I had left on my gift card the manager said $35! What happened to the $200 I was given? I didn’t use all of it. In addition to that, when I did cancel, the girl at the desk said I had until March to use any left over sessions and gift cards on my account at the member rate. I was going to schedule 1 last massage using the $35 gift card and the points I earned but the manager was only going to give me the non-member rate! Unbelievable. It was going to be $80 for a 60 minute massage which is actually 50 minutes because they cut the massages 10 minutes short. Do NOT use massage envy unless you want to be ripped off and mistreated. They have no customer loyalty. What an embarrassment. The manager should have done whatever he could to regain my confidence in Massage Envy but instead his customer service skills lacked significantly and for that reason I will never spend another dollar at Massage Envy.

I had such an unfortunate experience that I have to share to help others save their money. My therapist took a smoke break right before my massage and smelled heavily of smoke. She popped her knuckles relentlessly throughout the massage, never completing a movement without stopping to pop them. It was incredibly distracting and uncomfortable. My husband emailed the manager requesting a refund and he refused, but offered a free massage instead. When my husband emailed him back to accept, he never responded. He emailed again and still no response. I hate to speak poorly of a business, but I’m sure there are plenty independent massage therapists in town that would be happy to give you a pleasant experience. I regret not considering them first.

I had the most wonderful experience today and I signed up for the membership. I had a facial with Skye and he is fun of knowledge and wants you to feel and look your best. He is takes your through the steps so you understand what is going on your face and why it will help you. He makes great recommendations on how to improve your skin at home. I really did enjoy my time with him today and I can’t wait to go back to see him.

Stopped by on 3/5/18 to check them out. I was happy with what I saw and what they had to offer. I signed up and scheduled my first massage on 3/718 at 6 pm. I arrived between 5:50 pm and 6:00 pm. I was given a tablet to fill out various information. I completed it at 6 pm. I was told the therapist would be right with me. I was told at 6:15 pm that the therapist was still wit ha client and that I would get my full hour massage. The desk person was not sure when I would be seen. I was really frustrated and did not have time to now wait who know how long. They offered to reschedule. I said no and wanted to cancel. They did not even attempt to keep my business that they did not even have yet. Will NEVER darken their doors again.

My massage therapist (Chris) was not great; I would not recommend him. He asked me questions about my personal life while the massage was happening, which I tried to answer with as few words as I could because I was trying to relax and didn’t want to talk about things like how I got to my major in school. I asked him to apply more pressure three different times and I don’t think it was ever really enough. He also almost seemed scared to touch me; maybe he just wasn’t confident. Overall, not at all worth nearly $100.
