My birthday was on Thursday and I wanted to get a massage with a gift certificate my husband bought me. I completely forgot to book and I was so glad to see there was an availability for the same day at 9am! I booked the appt and was greeted by a lovely receptionist (can’t recall her name, but she was great!) I had a 60 minute massage with Angel. I cannot describe how amazing the massage was. I definitely think that was the best massage I’ve ever had. I wanted to get a facial too but didn’t see any online. However, the receptionist mentioned she had a noon appt available and was able to book me immediately. I got a facial done by Carmen and she was also so fantastic. I had a 10/10 experience! 🙂

DON’T GO HERE! Unfortunately, I have had many horrible experiences at this Massage Envy! The first one involved a HIPAA violation. My final and last experience was with a massage therapist that took me back to the room at 11:05 and then proceeded to not come back to my room until 11:17. She didn’t even say sorry I was doing xyz. At least hearing an excuse would have made me feel better about being left on the table for over ten minutes. For the same appointment, I was supposed to have a “hot stone” massage but the stones were cold. The therapist said nothing and it just felt like cold stones on my back. So, I asked her to please stop using the cold stones. She agreed and asked what pressure I desired. I said medium to hard. I have back problems and asked her not to use her knuckles around my spine and she said, “well, what type of pressure do you want then medium or hard? I can’t keep going back and forth.” I have never heard a massage therapist rudely say anything like this before. I wasn’t even offered an additional free hour of service for my wasted time. I canceled my membership on the spot. Corporate should look into this franchise site.

Don’t let them keep your credit card on file. They charged mine $75 without my authorization or even telling me after I had to cancel because I had Covid and was very sick. Bad policy and horrible way to treat a regular customer of almost 8 years. I complained and was told a manager would call me the next day. That was weeks ago and I’ve still not heard from them. I’m very disappointed.

The massage therapist I’ve seen here the last two visits shorted my time. She took me to the back 5 minutes late even though I arrived before my 3pm appointment. Than after had me waiting in the room for her for almost 10 minutes just to end my session at 3:50 instead of making up for the time she wasted. I understand it’s only going to be a 50 minute massage but why shorten the time even more and I’m paying for a membership.

There are never any appointments until after you are charged for the next month, so you are always falling further behind with more credits than you can use. Recently, I’ve called multiple times to try to freeze my account so that I don’t continue to be charged while I can’t get an appointment. Each time I’m told the manager isn’t there but will e-mail me the form and call me back. I haven’t received the form and haven’t gotten a return call from a manager. I’m sure my card will be charged again while I’m waiting for them to be responsive to my request. There are never any appointments until after you are charged for the next month, so you are always falling further behind with more credits than you can use.
