My husband bought me a gift card here for Mother’s Day and it was possibly the worst gift I’ve ever been given. After trying to schedule online and then calling 5 times, leaving 3 voicemails, and never receiving a call back, I finally got an appointment. I showed up for my appointment only to be told the masseuse I was scheduled with does not do prenatal massages and I had to reschedule. The next available appointment being 3.5 months from today. This is such a joke. At this point I would prefer a refund of my gift card so I don’t have to deal with this ridiculous place again. Alas, that would mean someone had to answer the phone and they clearly don’t do that.

So disappointed with massage envy. They charge you each month for the membership but cannot schedule appointments. I’ve attempted to schedule an appointment several days through March and not one appointment was able to be scheduled. This is robbery as you cannot cancel or you will loose all your prepaid massages. I currently have 35 prepaid massages that I cannot get into use. It’s unethical and disgusting.

massage was good and relaxing but i was extremely caught off guard by the price. my first massage was $70 and i rebooked my next massage before i left and the receptionist didn’t tell me anything about a newcomer discount or how much the massages normally cost. when i went back the second time it was well over $100 and i had to split the payment between two cards. the price isn’t an issue to me, what was the problem is the lack of communication with the pricing. i was never told that your first massage you get a discount and i feel that’s something that should be communicated with a customer that has never been there before. coming out of a massage already disoriented and being told that your massage is $50 more than it was last time isn’t a great experience. their online booking system also doesn’t work, it says they don’t have available appointments for months out but if you call (and on the off chance that anyone actually answers the phone) that most likely have multiple appointments available

I was just refused service because I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask safely. I offered to wear a face shield but obviously can’t do that while face down during a massage so I was refused service. I’ll be canceling my membership this week.

Difficult to get anyone on the phone. Appointments must be scheduled weeks in advance, forget getting help for a tension headache. I’m not sure if they have enough masseuses for the amount of customers. I have written to them by regular mail and email to cancel my membership, but haven’t received confirmation yet. I have received email about services I could get. I have wasted so much money on this place!

Massage Envy is more concerned with attaining new business than retaining their current customer base. I have struggled in 1.5 years to get in for massages, because they just don’t have the staff to serve their customers. I’ve brought this up before and they haven’t been too concerned. Just yesterday they tried to run my card for their monthly payment. Our HSA account is going through some changes and the number changed. I was not aware of this. Massage Envy was super quick to call me out on it, suspend my account, and threaten to cancel any future services if I didn’t pay within 24 hours. I’ve never had an issue with a provider there, but corporate policies and management ruin many things. It’s always all about the money.

It was great but I cant ever go back. For nonmembers your first 1hr massage is 65, after that it costs 115 for the same massage. Not interested in paying $30 a month just so I can pay $65 for the massage.
