Bought a couples massage over a year ago for my wife and I . At our first appointment, that we had to wait 9 months for went like this. 2 weeks prior to our appointment we called and got a confirmation on our time and place. We drove over an hour and when we arrived we were told that we were not the books and they did not have a second therapist to cover. So they booked us out another 4 months. We get a hold of management and nothing can be done, nothing to even offer as an apology. Not a good start. So my appointment was for the 23rd. I called today the 17th to once again confirm our time and location. I’m now told that they attempted to contact me October 1st to let me know that my wife’s therapist has quit. There was never such call. No email ( we’ve emailed the manager previously and no response from her either) no voicemail… this seems like a very poorly run place of business. We will be getting a refund and take our money elsewhere.

I have been canceled on 5 times in a row the day before my appointment . My therapist has been out for 2 months and they called the day before to cancel. They should pay me! I would’ve had to pay them. I need these for health reason. She tried to offer another time but for some weird reason only had time available on the one day i can’t go! I am finished with them. I have been a Massage Envy customer for 8 years. I understand Covid can be an issue but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. Done and done

I have stopped going to massage envy previously because of the lack of quality in their massage therapists but I got a gift card for Christmas and obviously wanted to use it so I called about 6 weeks ago and made an appointment for this Saturday 2/19 for a 90 min massage. Fine. But then I got a voicemail last night saying my massage therapist has a hand injury and hasn’t been cleared to come back to work so I have to reschedule. Fine. I called today and spoke with the “manager” Cheryl and she said their next weekend opening for a 90 min massage isn’t until MAY. So you’re telling me I have to wait another THREE MONTHS to get in???? That is ridiculous but I scheduled something anyways. Then she says before she can save my appointment time that she needs me to put a credit card on file “just in case I don’t show up”….. but like in a super rude tone…um, excuse me look up my appointment history I have never ever no showed. I explained that I have NEVER had to do that for a massage service and that when I called 6 weeks ago they had no issue booking me without a card on file- in fact they didn’t even mention it but Cheryl insisted she couldn’t book the appointment without one. So needless to say- this has already been a nightmare and I’m over it and told her to cancel all future appointments for me. For a “manager” you think she’d be a little less condescending and a little more concerned about customer satisfaction. Maybe I’ll get lucky at a different location but doubt it since this type of poor attitude and lack customer service seems to be the Massage Envy way. Do yourself a favor and don’t book here- there are SO many -actual quality- massage places that are leaps and bounds above this.

I’ve scheduled 3 appts at this location at various times and every single time I get a call the day of that my appointment has been cancelled. Today was the 3rd time. It’s incredibly obnoxious to have set aside time for this and to have to have it cancelled. I’ve got a package I can’t even use near me because I’ve got to travel to another city to use it since Savage always cancels my appointments!! Do better.

When you get to book a massage the experience is wonderful, but it is virtually impossible to book an massage unless you have an extremely flexible schedule and can be on their cancel list and go in anytime. I pay $60+ a month and it’s like throwing money out the window.

The massages here are great and the receptionists are very friendly. However, I made an appointment online for the next week. I called the next day just to make sure it was covered with my membership. She double checked the time and everything. She said everything looked good. I get a call the day before my appointment saying that the slot I picked was for a 90 minute massage. I could pay $20 to upgrade or reschedule. I understand that they don’t want to leave 30 minute slot open, but calling me the day before and saying I can’t have that time slot unless I pay is kind of ridiculous. How was I supposed to know it was a 90 minute slot? Their website said that was available. So, I took it. At the very least, the lady who answered when I called to make sure it was covered under my membership should have caught that. I’ll keep up with my membership, but I will not be going to this location anymore.

The place was crowded and chaotic and did not feel relaxing. I felt rushed when checking in and didn’t get to read all the info on the tablet. The person doing the massage was nice enough but she didn’t explain anything to me and actually caused a fair amount of pain and bruising. It doesn’t seem like the tech that I had was very well trained and she pretty clearly lacked confidence as well. I would much rather go to a smaller place and get a more calming and personalized service than what I had here.
