This was my first time here and I was very happy:) Calling to book my appointment was quick and easy! Upon my visit the front desk girls were so kind and had GREAT energy!! In the tranquility room the manager came and offered those who were waiting some water. She was so kind and definitely put me in a relaxing mood. The massage was exactly what my body needed ! Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been a member of Massage Envy and have visited several locations. I scheduled a 1.5 hour massage and when finished, I went to the counter to pay and leave a tip. The associate told me my services were covered (by my monthly membership fee) but I still owed $30. When I asked why, she told me they consider themselves a premium location and charge $20 more per hour than other Massage Envy locations. In their system, they can see I am a member at the Vernon Hills location and what my monthly dues are. I was appalled that I wasn’t notified of this prior to coming in for my appointment. When I asked the associate, she shrugged her shoulders and asked for the payment.

The staff are warm and helpful, the therapists are amazing at what they do, and the facilities are clean and pleasant. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a massage. Patrick especially is great at deep tissue and other techniques helpful for dealing with knots and persistent tight muscles.

I am ranking this as 4/5 stars because I had multiple issues with the contract going past the 6 mth period and charging me when I shouldn’t have been charged. That said, when I found out I was pregnant halfway through my contract period this branch worked with me to transfer my credits to my husband so he could use them instead of me. An excellent deep tissue massage therapist named Patrick greatly helped my husband manage his shoulder/neck pain with the transferred credits.

They then called her and there was miscommunication between her and the shop and she apparently had the day off. Had to reschedule my appointment. So unorganized and unprofessional. Went to my appointment last week after having 2 previous issues with this location only to be told my therapist wasn’t there yet. They then called her and there was miscommunication between her and the shop and she apparently had the day off. Had to reschedule my appointment. Needless to say, monthly membership has been canceled and we will be spending our money for massage therapy elsewhere. Something that should be enjoyable and relaxing always ends up being a mess!!!

Very rude manager! I had to reschedule an appointment and they scheduled me for the wrong day, charged my card $252.00 for a no show, well why would I show up for February 26 when I asked for march 26?! , refusing to refund for their mistake (only offered half of a refund which is unacceptable for their mistake, I wanted a full refund) never apologized, she said it wasn’t her problem, and if I didnt pay they would send me to collections! I told them you cant charge me for your mistake! I had to cancel my card and stop that payment! I was hoping (common courtesy for a business that has made a mistake) for them to offer to reschedule, NOPE! I would never EVER recommend this place to anyone!! Just absolutely terrible experience!! Very unprofessional manager with no people skills. I dont know what kind of business this location runs, but based off a few reviews I’m not the only one with this kind of scamming experience!

I went in for a massage in April. The person at the front desk let me know that they have a membership that I could cancel at anytime. They also game me coupons that “can be used at anytime”. I come to find out the coupons can NOT be used at anytime as I went to use them and it turns out they were expired. But now I find that I’m not able to cancel my membership as I was told I was able to before. Do not go here. They only care about lining their own pockets with your money by lying to receive your membership.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in life period. I went to massage envy to have a relaxation day with my wife and it turned into a real disaster. My therapist said to me at the end, well I kind of relaxed you. That will be the last time I ever go there. Beware you will not be treated with respect or dignity. From the moment I walked in the door I could feel the tension, my wife had a wonderful experience but I guess I wasn’t afforded the same treatment even though it was me that wanted to go and that paid for this. I’m glad she had an enjoyable experience but I wonder why it stopped there. being my first message I was expecting a walk through on what to expect and I didn’t get any of that, the only advice I was given was to keep my underwear on and I was notified by my therapist that, don’t worry I have 3 brothers I know how it is, whatever that was supposed to mean. Even when filling out the paperwork I was handed a tablet and that was all they talked to my wife only and treated me like I didn’t belong. I would not recommend going to this salon if you are a male, I thought it was normal for all people male or female to want to experience a relaxing message but I guess not at message envy Kenosha. I am really really disappointed I’ve been waiting years to have a relaxing message with my wife where we would both have time to relax and let the worries away but this has caused more stress that’s not going at all.
