My husband and I booked the couples room in July for an October appointment, we could have gone to a much closer location but this was the only location in town with the couples room. We got there and they put us in separate rooms, when we asked they said it was double booked. Never apologized. Then one of us had a therapist that talked the entire time and it was not relaxing.

Lacking severely in transparency of their membership. It isn’t a requirement, but more or less it is. When I go to get services to relax, the appointment & scheduling process also should make me feel relaxed. Instead I felt pressured, judged & treated coldly. There is also a serious lack of ethnic skin awareness & products for my daughter were either not good for her skin or just weren’t even available. When asking questions about this, nobody had any real knowledge. We ended purchasing product that my daughter could not use. We have gift cards that my husband got my daughter & I for Christmas & we have now canceled our appointment & we will try another franchise location in Lex to at least use our gift cards.

Massage Envy therapists are super great I give them 5 stars. Especially Holly B. What I do not like is paying a monthly fee and finding it hard to get in to see your favorite therapist. Usually I have to schedule everything months in advance. I also don’t like the fact that if I pay $75 per month (which covers an hour massage) and I have an appointment for 60min massage. I am expected to pay the monthly fee, plus gratuity at the recommended rate of $25-$30. That is $100 per month for a 60 min massage. Just received a letter that my rate is going up in Sept. I have Been a member with Massage Envy since 2012 but come Sept 2021 I will be looking elsewhere.

I had a 60 minute massage with Jessica and she was great! She was very understanding that I was there to relax and helped work out a lot of stress I had built up in my neck and back. No headache today which I was having every day for the last few months. All the girls upfront were super nice, helpful, and not pushy– which was important to me as most of these places are. I felt comfortable and plan to come back as soon as I can 🙂

I had my first massage today. Kelly is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the facility is super clean. All of the staff was so friendly. Kelly made me feel so comfortable and I honestly can not imagine getting a better massage. I would give this establishment ten stars if it was possible. Loveeeee!!!!!

I have been going to Massage Envy on a monthly basis for almost a year. I absolutely love it and look forward to “ME” time. The therapist that I see is wonderful. She works in the areas I need most, always reviews my current needs, and finds new needs as works on me. The front desk staff are incredible. I love going in and see Danny and Joey. They make me smile and I love that they remember me and are truly interested in how I’ve been. I have also been the recipient of a facial, which was wonderful! The advantages of being a member have been incredible. I love Allie, Crystal, Kim, Danny, Joey and the rest of the staff at ME Nicholasville Rd.

My boyfriend scheduled a full service and facial for Valentine’s day. We walked in and I was so excited. Then we checked in just for them to reschedule me a week later because I was pregnant and they couldn’t take me on the day we paid. I was so upset. So i came in on my reschedule date and was disappointed again. I came in at 12:50pm my appointment was at 1. They took me to my room, my massage therapist was very nice n sweet. She didn’t do my arms or feet telling me because the lady who does facials will do it. The facial lady came in. She was also sweet. But didn’t do my feet . She tried to get my feet done for free since I had 2 issues. They denied it. Saying it was my fault cause i was late doing my paper work. And i used the bathroom. Remind you im 7months pregnant. It was so horrible and rude of them to take something away and still made me pay full service. And the lady in the front checking me out was rude. Her whole attitude showed she didn’t care how i felt.. never again. Never go there again..

Critical: ProfessionalismCalled my husband an hour before his appt to cancel with no backup. His appointment has been scheduled for 3 weeks! I told the girl when I scheduled how important it is to keep this appt as my husband cannot reschedule due to his busy schedule as a respiratory therapist. Unacceptable and very disappointing.

The massage itself was great and the front desk staff were nice but I don’t like Massage Envy’s bait and switch tactics. It does not mention on the website that the $55 is an “introductory” price. They don’t mention this prior to your massage either. Afterwards when you are paying, they tell you it’s an introductory rate and if you don’t enroll in their membership plan, it’s $90 for a 50 minute massage, if you want to come back. It costs $55 just to enroll in the plan and you pay around $60 for a once a month massage and I think a facial too. None of that is counting tip. This is ridiculous and no offense to the massage therapists, they were great, but this is too much and I don’t like how they don’t mention any of this on the website or before you get the massage.
