Massage Envy

Critical: CommunicationI drove into Memphis for a weekend getaway and was able to get in last minute for a facial and massage. The lady I spoke with over the phone was very professional and helpful. When I arrived I received the same professional and helpful behavior. However, my facial did not meet the standard. When I walked in the room I was asked my problem areas and what I wanted to focus on. I stated my answer and that was it she went right in to me changing and she’ll be right back. I had red lipstick on and during the facial, what felt like her wiping my lipstick off was just a smear and quite embarrassing once I realized it in the car. At the end she said “I recommend a microderm because it’s just better than a regular facial.” That was it, not recommendation for what I could do in the mean time for my facial concerns or nothing. I was concerned about getting in so late (5PM) and it was very obvious she was ready to get off and not meet my needs. It was for sure not worth $115! Lastly, since I was getting both a facial and massage she told me to put a robe on and wait in the tranquility room, I had no idea where this was nor did she direct me. As a suggestion it may be beneficial to offer guest to wait in a more private room instead of the front while wearing a robe. That option was not given so I went and found the room she referred me to. My massage was the best part. I drove into Memphis for a weekend getaway and was able to get in last minute for a facial and massage. The lady I spoke with over the phone was very professional and helpful. When I arrived I received the same professional and helpful behavior. However, my facial did not meet the standard. I am an avid runner with a lot of trouble areas. I pointed these out and told her that I needed a deep tissue massage. She is the first masseuse that listened to me the first time and gave me the best (hurt so good) massage I’ve ever had! Don’t let her petite size fool you! She is super strong!I’m also pleased with the front desk staff who have been very professional since I returned. I was previously disappointed with their customer service before. I didn’t use to like Massage Envy Collierville until I took a 6 month deferral due to COVID-19 and when I returned I got a massage from Valencia! I am an avid runner with a lot of trouble areas. I pointed these out and told her that I needed a deep tissue massage. She is the first masseuse that listened to me the first time and gave me the best (hurt so good) massage I’ve ever had! Don’t let her petite size fool you! She is super strong!

I believe she was new but her name was Brittney and she was so kind hearted and quirky! It was refreshing! Jaylen is my absolute favorite and she is the kindest to me! I ALWAYS get facials with Allison and she is the BEST around, would not dare think of trusting anyone else with my aging process of my skin! She is so passionate about her work and her clients and very thorough to say the least.. so blessed to have came across these beautiful girls! I had an appointment today and I’ve been a member for over 2 years now and I just wanted to dote on the FDA there! I believe she was new but her name was Brittney and she was so kind hearted and quirky! It was refreshing! Jaylen is my absolute favorite and she is the kindest to me!
