I always look forward to my appointments here. Sydney is my literal savior! As a hygienist, I’m constantly beating up my neck and back and Sydney always helps me to keep going in my profession. She’s personable and great at focusing on my problem areas. In general, this location is clean and relaxing. I’ve never been met with a frown – all the girls and guys here are so friendly! Wow, I never thought I’d be the kind of person who splurged on “luxuries” like massages and facials, but after one session I realized how much more of a necessity it was for me! My massages here have been fantastic, but it wasn’t until I received my (first-ever) facial with Rachael that I knew I had to make taking care of myself more of a priority. It was so easy for me to always push back “me time” until it never happened. Now I see Rachael every month and she makes me feel like a new person. My skin has never looked better (and I really mean that, I’ve suffered with acne since middle school) and I’m able leave my stress at the door. Thanks, massage envy!

Walking in, staff was very attentive, and very helpful with it being my first visit at Massage Envy in Alcoa. Was walked back to the “relax room” where I was given water, and a heated neck wrap. My massage therapist came and greeted me, and walked me back to the room. She realized she hadn’t changed the bed sheets from her previous guest, and had me stand in the hallway and wait for her to switch it out. I went into the room, and we consulted about what I was hoping for out of my experience/massage. I told her my problem areas, and that this was only my 2nd time EVER getting a massage, so I was new to them and wasn’t ready for a ton of pressure. She CLEARLY did not hear me out on that. I was in TONS of pain the entire massage, to the point of almost being in tears and just wanting to get up and leave. She talked to me the whole entire time, which when I think of massages, I think of quiet and relaxing. I had neither of those.

Lemme just start off by saying, the place is so peaceful! It smells so good. Everything is very very CLEAN. I felt so incredible welcomed and showered with so much attention by everyone. Lilly at the front desk was so great and so helpful, I had no idea that there was a difference between a normal massage and a maternal massage. She went into details about everything. The lady that massaged me had the most angelic hands ever. She added so many pillows to my body, I felt like I was cuddling someone. She did such a wonderful job that I almost fell asleep! Her voice was so gentle. This place is Heaven. Def recommend anyone to go if they are trying to escape reality and just be in heaven.
