I received a Massage Envy gift card for my birthday. I wound up getting a 90 minute full body massage from Chris. It was amazing. He worked on the areas I told him were giving me problems. Particularly my neck and shoulders. I felt so much better when I left. Make sure you arrive early to fill out questionnaire and get undressed because it will cut into your massage time. He stopped about 10 minutes before the 90 minute mark and he started about 10 minutes into my start time. So I lost about 20 minutes. Other than that, it was awesome and I’d return. Oh and the lady at the front desk was very sweet and welcoming.

I’ve given this location a few chances & I agree with my coworkers who say the same thing. While yes it is relaxing, the massage therapist here do not give a therapeutic massage & if you have a career that depends on getting regular massages I do not recommend.

I have been a member of Massage Envy for probably 5 years. The one is West Palm Beach is great. The one in Ocala, is awful. They can never get you in with who you want unless you book at least a month out! Their employees also work crazy hours so if you do find someone you like good luck fitting in to their schedule!

Critical: ProfessionalismCalled for an hr and a half massage, scheduled for 8:30pm and was called 2 hrs before appointment time. I was told because I worked with this location I cannot come back for any type of service. Joan said it was a corporate policy, yet when calling another location they had no idea what I was saying and couldn’t believe that I was treated this way. I choose this location as it is close to home and so I wouldn’t have to drive out of town for a good massage. This is discrimination by not allowing someone to come in for a service because they had worked here. Many locations said it’s not a corporate policy it’s just a location policy as they have previous employees come in for services to the same location they had worked. This location has nothing but horrible policies and really bad discrimination acts. Had my first massage at the ocala location and Jennifer was my massage therapist, I am use to light to medium pressure. Jennifer gave me the pressure I desired however, I feel like when I was asked to turn over and lay on my back she did not spend more then 30 seconds on each arm, leg, and neck area. I know each massage therapist is different and has their own style of massage, I just feel that the time couldve been utilized better so that my entire body was cared for and not what felt like 40 minutes on my back side and 10 minutes on the front. I signed up for the membership because I need massages but I will be trying another massage therapist to find my match. All in all though Jennifer was good but not the best I’ve had.

Great massage therapists. Ralf is wonderful. He really helped release the tension on my back and my vertebrae started to align themselves. It’s the only place I’ve been th a t have breast pillows, particularly good for women that had mastectomies and implants.

Terrible customer service, do not fall for being a member, it is not worth the cost at all. The bill you for a whole hour but cut out 10 min before before to discuss the massage and to get undressed and 5 min after to get dressed. Why am I pre-filling out what I would like via a survey if we are going to reduce time for 10 min to discuss? And why am I paying for a whole hour then? By the way you cannot cancel your plan, even though they say this when you sign up, I SPECIFICALLY ASKED THIS QUESTION, you have the option to “freeze” your account for 6 months max but will resume as normal until you hit your year mark. You can also transfer your massage to someone else (provided they meet the exception and still pay 10$). Find your self a regular massage therapist who has their own practice and won’t hit you with rules, regulations and fines.
