I would not even give this location 1- star but that wasn’t an option . Customer service is non existent at this location . Apparently the owner does not value customer loyalty or retention . I have been a customer of Massage Envy at different locations throughout Florida and South Carolina depending on my place of residence and have never experienced such incredibly unprofessional behavior by management. After suffering Covid twice in the past two years , I continued to faithfully pay the membership fees even though I wasn’t able to utilize the services. At a time when many Franchisee’s were losing their businesses and closing doors , especially those that were considered non-vital services , I continued my patronage. I have over 2 years of service credits that I cannot currently utilize because of a fractured leg. I called to freeze the account for 3 months , prior to the next billing. Instead my account was suspended for non payment for the September billing ( which I won’t be able to use) and was told it could not be placed in a “freeze status” while suspended . This means the 2 years of service credits at $65 each for a total of $1,560 will be lost according to their policy. It seems to me this is what small claims court was established for and will be pursued. Payments made but services not rendered! After serving 45 plus years in Executive Management in the Banking industry , I hired and trained all sales personnel to understand, embrace and believe that customer service is and always should be PRIORITY ONE, something the Owner of Massage Envy Cutler Bay evidently does not believe in and sadly , poorly represents this brand. I plan to file a complaint to corporate headquarters because I believe they should know how their brand is being misrepresented.

I had a horrible experience. I was given a gift certificate by my mother so I could relax and enjoy a massage. I scheduled my appointment and they took my credit card information to reserve my appointment for noon. I received a text message at 11am instructing me to reply to the message when I arrived at noon and wait in my car until I was asked to come inside. I arrived at 12:00 and replied to the text and received a message 2 minutes later telling me to wait in my car until called in. I waited for 10 minutes then decided to enter the building since I was not texted again. Once I entered one of the girls greeted me and handed me the iPad to enter my medical information. Once completed the massage therapist greeted me and took me back to the room and said, “ your session will only be 30 minutes because you arrived late and I need to leave!” I was confused and upset at this point so she told me to go speak to the front desk. When I spoke to the girls at the front desk they said I was late and should have arrived earlier to complete the questionnaire. I told them I arrived on time and was not instructed to arrive earlier. They began to be very rude and told me my credit card would be charged because the session was missed. At that point I was extremely upset and did not receive good customer service. I was suppose to be relaxing not irritated and they continued being rude and got into a shouting match with me in the lobby. I asked to speak to the manager and they told me the manager was the one that said to charge me and she would not be in for another hour so I could sit down and wait. After being furious for about another 10 minutes I asked to call the manager again and then was told I could leave and they would not charge me. I left feeling frustrated and annoyed which is the opposite of what I came to massage envy to get. Very disappointed and I don’t recommend going to this location.

I told him I payed for an hour and he said, they only do 45min massages . After re read the advertisement and it said $80 for 60min. If Im paying for an hour massage, Im going to get my money’s worth and get an hour. I went back in to tell them they stopped before my time was up, all they said was to reschedule for another .The massage itself was disappointing but was just okay.
