I was a member at this location for several years. I have had a few different therapist that I have been very happy with. Unfortunately the front desk staff is not great. I had 2 situations where my appointment was canceled the same day of the massage due to the therapist being sick. That I understand. What I can’t understand is them emailing or texting to cancel instead of calling. I had no missed calls or voice messages from them. I asked to speak to the owner about this and received a call back from the manager. She told me she trusted her staff and did not believe the staff did not try to reach me by phone. Why would I lie? What would I gain? Apparently the staff is more trustworthy than the paying client. I canceled my membership.

My first facial and first time at Massage Envy. I was extremely nervous not knowing what to expect but my rep Brandi made me feel comfortable during the entire process and explained everything that she was doing. It was a great experience and I will definitely be a repeat customer. Be sure to ask for Brandi for your facial. The entire facility is top notch.

Signing up for the membership was a waste of $$$. I can never get in for an appointment & other locations don’t honor the upgrade certificates. I have lost more $$$ doing it this way than paying for several 2 hour massages a year!!! It’s a scam & ripoff. This place was good over ten years ago but has went downhill big time. Such a disappointment!!

Literally, my husband was hospitalized and had emergency surgery yesterday. I called today to cancel our couples massage and they are charging us 50% of the cost for cancellation if they cannot fill our spots. This was not on my mind to cancel yesterday with all that was going on, but that is not acceptable for them. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Poor customer service and unfair employee practices. Places that treat their own employees bad usually don’t treat the customers well either. So unprofessional and very disappointing. I have had only great experiences with corporate locations, unfortunately this is a franchise and not a well run one.

Please watch out. This place does false advertisement! I bought this mother’s day promotion for three 60-min facial sessions for my wife during the mother’s day period in 2019. I paid $150 for this voucher, which was supposed to be worth $180 for three 60-min facial sessions. When my wife first went in for her 1st facial, they gave her a hard time about this voucher saying they do not recognize the voucher. Finally, the manager agreed to honor the voucher (the fact that she had to argue with the manager about this voucher is already aggravating) and wrote $100 on the voucher saying each facial will be like $50 and she has 2 more facials left. Fine. This time, my wife and I went together to get facial since 2 facials left on the voucher. After our sessions were done, the front desk person tells us that we owe $20 since each facial is $60 and there is only $100 on the voucher. We explained that the voucher was for 3 facials as written on the voucher, but they responded by saying that the voucher barcode only brings up $100. We explained again that each facial was considered $50 based on the promotion and voucher, but the front desk people did not understand and said they cannot do anything about it. The front desk people actually called their manager, but their manager also said she cannot accept this promotional voucher and the balance of $20 had to be paid. We ended up paying the $20 difference as there was no other way. We felt like they cheated on us and ripped us off. This promotional voucher was a total false advertisement. Dont buy any of their promotional products because they will say they dont recognize them.

Paid for 60min, but by the time I was taken to a room and “comfort zones” were gone over, my session was more like 30min, and my “deep tissue massage” only consisted of back and back of legs, and not the shoulders, arms, hands, head, as described in brochure.

I give this rating after being a member of Massage Envy since 2012. Before I was married I would go to the Buford location and just recently while pregnant I have been seeing Marie to help keep stress levels low due to my high risk pregnancy. I’m surprised to see low ratings at this location. Most of the 1 star reviews are mostly people complaining of their massage therapist, which you can always change any time you come in. Assuming your massage therapist will be the same gender as you is quite a stretch to be complaining about….you can request them to be the same gender.
