Please read the reviews before signing up for a year long membership here. I haven’t been able to get a massage in two months and was just told that my therapist is no longer with them, so my next two massages need to be rescheduled and was told they are booked for the next two months. It’s very irritating that I have a reoccurring payment monthly that I’m not even able to utilize. I have found great local spots to get my massages done and would recommend those over this place any day. Awaken your senses being one of them. I can’t wait for the day that my contract ends.

I’ve been trying to schedule a massage using a gift card I received from my son for my birthday. They are telling me I need to put a credit card on file but I do not have a credit card! Does that mean I can not use my gift card? If not then my son needs to be reimbursed for that gift card. I have had other massage in different salons over the years and have never been asked for a credit card. I use cash!!

Some of the therapists are great BUT the management and front desk staff are pure idiots. They can’t keep their calendar straight. They cancel appointments without giving notice. Even if you find someone you like, there’s no guarantee you can get the appointment you book because they randomly cancel with no notice. Sadly there’s not enough alternatives in the area to go elsewhere or I totally would. Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI’ve been a member at Massage Envy for quite a while. At my original location I have never had any issues. THIS city/place has had many issues. You can never get an appt when you want it, you keep accruing sessions that you pay for and can never use.Recently I kept hearing the same thing – they do not value their massage staff and there are issues so the staff has been quitting. Indeed, the few therapists that I enjoyed are no longer there and after speaking to them realize that it was not a healthy environment for the staff.I’ve since moved on to another spa that DOES value their employees and guests. I will be ending my membership and recommending that NO ONE ever goes to this location again. I will give personal references for the place I have found that is calm, welcoming and works with their guest to have the time to work on them.I’ve been a member at Massage Envy for quite a while. I have had a membership here for over a year. $70 a month. And I have only been able to get 2 appt. I did have to cancel one because I had surgery but other then that it is booked months out. I have had 2 appt canceled by them that I had book for over a month because the massage therapist became unavailable just to be told it would be another month and a half before I could get another appt. So basically I pay a monthly fee that I can’t even use monthly. I have called multiple time to speak to someone about canceling or putting my membership on hold and do not get an answer. I have left multiple messages with no return phone call. The two appts I did have where great. But getting a appt that is kept has proven to be pretty hard.

While the facial was very good the management left much to be desired. I found Patty to be insincere and spent most of her time on the internet rather than attempting to discover my needs or wants. Regardless the fact that I was the only customer at that time. I would highly recommend one of the local owned businesses like Renew Spa over this chain that felt very money oriented

I made the mistake of signing up for a membership. It is almost impossible to get an appointment within my schedule. I now have almost 15 massages owed to me and they continue to bill me even though they are shut down. If you cancel , you lose the massages you paid for monthly. Membership is a good way to pay over $1,000 for a massage. The company disclaims that memberships are ONLY with the independent location and NOT Massage Envy. Therefore they offer no assistance. If you use their services, I recommend not joining a membership. Would not recommend anyone to Massage Envy.

Critical: ProfessionalismI have been a member of Massage Envy for 9 years and get regular massages, due to chronic pain with auto immune issues. So this review comes with many years of Great experiences- HOWEVER, this past Friday, Oct 8, 2021, I resumed massages due to being high risk. I had the WORST experience ever, and am embarrassed for the therapist who proceeded to berate me , tell me my issues were in my own head and that I cause them myself, she debated me on my own physical issues. I tried to explain further and she was mean, ugly to me and then said “this is over” and walked out! I was AGHAST! This was crazy, unacceptable and I was outraged. Her name is VALERIE! DO NOT USE HER! She is an unhappy person, evidently, and does not take the care someone needs when booking this type of service.
