In addition to never being able to make an appt online, being met with a busy tone or no answer during business hours, and mediocre services, Sara, the on-duty manager, felt the need to be argumentative and extremely unhelpful when trying to transfers my credits to someone else. Just don’t go here. Even with the membership, About Faces ends up being less expensive with much better treatments and astonishingly better customer service.

Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismI tried to purchase a gift card online. When I attempted to submit my purchase request, I received an error message. Upon reviewing my bank statement, I realized the money was withdrawn from my account. I never received a confirmation or email from the company so I placed a call to the local parlor. After expressing my concerns with Natalie, she advised that she would make an attempt to contact the online department. 2 days past without hearing anything from Natalie or the online department, I place another call to Natalie. She stated that my claimed was reviewed but no further action had been taken. Another request was submitted on my behalf and she also supplied me a number to call to the IT department. I’ve called on two separate occasions and left messages. However Massage Envy has yet to return my phone calls. This was supposed to be a Christmas present for my deserving parents. I am utterly disgusted with the lack of professionalism and communication displayed by Massage Envy. Front desk nice went for about a year than because of other Bill’s couldn’t afford to continue I had to cancel, but found out after I cancelled I had credits built up I could of used about 20or 30 dollars worth towards my massage which i would of went back for another massage and paid the difference but front desk would not honor the credits I had built up because of this I would not return. I wish they would of been more helpful of letting me know of my credits. I’ve had a brain injury I couldn’t keep up with the credits I earned or even have a friendly reminder of what I could of used ,so they get my extra credits and my money earned so stay loyal for a year than like a business when you call to discuss it’s like sorry your gone thanks for your business but your credits earned no longer good here basically bye bye loyal customer nothing we can do for you.

I have tried a few other Massage Envy’s, and was so Excited when the Eastern Shore got its first ME! The therapists here are amazing, everyone is very experienced and professional. They really helped get rid of my tension and knots, one of the best massages I’ve ever had :-). Very relaxing atmosphere, caring staff and great massage therapists. Definitely check it out!!!

I scheduled a massage for my wife who has chronic pain in her neck and shoulder. While scheduling the appointment, I was asked if she needed any special areas worked on and I said yes. I paid extra for more time and for targeted areas to be addressed. When my wife went into the room with the therapist (while I was paying and in the waiting room), the therapist told her that she couldnt do any extra treatment wothout a Dr’s note. After the so-called massage, my wife came out and I was expepting to hear how good she felt but instead she had more pain than when she went in. Almost $100 for a massage plus a $25 tip and they didnt help her at all.
