I signed up for memberships for myself and my spouse, and it has been miserable. The opposite of relaxing. Appointments are always booked out online, for all locations. You can book in person, but it’s for weeks out. They rarely answer the phone and don’t respond to message. Appointments get canceled because the therapist has left, and then you have to start over, waiting weeks for a time. In 5 months, all appointments were canceled except one. The one I was able to attend was lackluster at best.

The scheduling system is complete garbage, better luck calling the place. The staff is slow and doesn’t follow through with call backs. The manager is so rude and unfriendly, when its their business to run, clearly all they want is your monthly subscription payment but there is no one available for your monthly massage/facial etc. They have no confirmation when you cancel your subscription and the manager lied to me. You will have so much better luck with small business choices rather than these duds.

Great massage therapists; terrible management. I’d been giving them some slack for a long time due to COVID. They had issues before COVID, but things have deteriorated to the point of being a complete waste of time in attempting to book an appointment. You have to book months in advance and therapist schedules often change by the time your appointment comes up. They cancel on you and leave you hanging with no alternate. While this location is bad – I understand that part of the challenge is their having to share therapists with other locations. The location itself has become dirty and worn – as if maintenance fell off during the pandemic and never resumed. So I’m working now to get out of the Massage Envy loop. They are unreliable. Communication is horrible. Follow through is worse. I hope their remaining therapists can find a better place to work. Terrible location and poorly run organization.

I received a gift card and wanted to schedule an appointment with Peggy I couldn’t find any appointment online and none were shown past March. This morning I walked in to schedule one in person and the front desk lady named Caitlin had such an attitude. I don’t care that she didn’t greet me but to have an attitude is so unprofessional! I gave her a mean look and was about to say something but she can’t care less and I didn’t feel like wasting my time. Once she realized I was mad, she tried to look for one and suddenly found one within 2 weeks from now. You clearly don’t like your job that’s fair don’t take it out on potential clients she’s the reason why I will not be coming back to this location in my neighborhood. I asked for her name when I walked out not sure if she gave me the right one. This happened on 01/27 around noon!

Totally incompetent…basic customer service doesn’t exist. Two scheduled appointments canceled by this location, on the day of the scheduled appointment, and they decided just to send a text message and not call. Why did they not call? According to the receptionist, it’s more efficient. For who, not for the customer! Just because you sent a text doesn’t mean the other party read it; simply give them a call and explain the situation. If this is your company business model or practice, it amazes me how you still even exist.

If you have a membership to this awful place cancel it now. If you have an upcoming appointment cancel it or move it to another location. My wife and her girlfriend just showed up for their scheduled massage appointment. It was scheduled six weeks ago. They were told in an unprofessional and uncourteous matter that their massages have been canceled. The rudeness of the staff combined with even a more rude behavior by the manager telling my wife and her girlfriend that they canceled the massage because they’re shorthanded was beyond unbelievable. There was no advance notification. Please don’t let anyone step into this place. You will get better treatment at the local DMV. We have already contacted the corporate office regarding this unbelievably horrible operation at their Crown location in Gaithersburg. Avoid it like the plague.

Kayla is really rude on the phone. She should learn how to talk to others. I was trying to cancel and appointment and the way she spoke to me was absolutely terrible. She supposedly works with clients. I would recommend speaking to somebody else. She needs training on how to speak to others because she is not pleasant at all.

Lack professionalism and knowledge massage time is cut short they included even the time to put my clothes back on off my massage and the paperwork time which is ridiculous. The massage therapist honestly lacked knowledge and seemed unsure of what she was doing. She kept asking me about how she was doing I had to keep telling her what I needed. The front staff was not friendly very poor customer service skills. They were not knowledgeable of the system couldn’t locate my information on the system.
