In June I scheduled a massage to help with chronic health issues. The receptionist took my basic information (name, address, phone, reason for coming & credit card to hold appointment). Nothing else was said, told or explained. I received a confirmation text. The day of the appointment I had a migraine & needed to cancel, then received a message that she (the receptionist) now needed to explain the 24- hour cancellation policy and that I would be charged the full amount for my missed appointment. For 3 months, I engaged in a run-around battle with management to get my money back, instead only being offered useless services since I have found a private massage therapist after the rude manner in which I was treated by this franchise. Both the franchise & regional manager hid behind the excuse that their employee needed to be paid, which he should be, the franchise should absorb the loss. So despite another employee making a mistake and not fully informing me of their policies ahead of time, I am the one who had to lose $120. #massageenvylanghorne #massageenvyneshaminy #samemanagement #waitingforrefund

I signed up for the monthly membership a couple of years ago. Covid happened and was not able to use my credits. I knew I had credits on my account that I did not use due to covid. I was told you can use you credits at any location. I went to use my credits at a different location in PA and they said the credits had be used already at this location in Langhore. I said thats impossible, I haven’t even been to this location in Langhore ever in my life. So I called the Langhore location and explained to them I think there is a misunderstanding, there is no way I used my credits, and especially not at their location. The manager basically accuses me of lying and talking down to me, saying there is nothing she can do for me. Clearly the issue was they signed someone in for a service under the wrong name and used my account by accident. I am unsure this “manager’s” name, but she has extremely poor customer service skills for working at a spa. So I basically threw my money down the drain. Paid for services I didn’t or can’t use. I tried to reach out to corporate a few months ago with no respond back.

Ilir my massage therapist is amazing! However, we had an issue after our massage and the manager CC could learn a little about customer service. First, there was no reason for her to raise her voice, threaten or speak down to anyone. If CC was having a bad day or she is unable to speak to people without the attitude maybe she should take a less stressful position. The ladies who were working the desk were nothing but apologetic especially after she left. CC (I don’t know what her actual name is) but she came in with the attitude as if she were bothered by the fact that she had to come in. Anyway, if you decide to go anyway, if you sign up for the membership make sure you get any adjustments in writing and if you discuss any change, questions, comments or concerns get that in writing as well.
