One of the women working the front desk was very rude and short with me, but the masseuse I had was absolutely excellent. I need deep tissue massage and I often don’t get out of massage therapists the pressure I need but she did PHENOMENALLY. I’d deal with the rude woman to be worked on by the masseuse I saw again but it was a very uncomfortable experience to walk into.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI’ve been a fan of Massage Envy for many years now, as being a former employee and current membership holder it takes some time to find the right therapist. No therapist is a bad therapist; you just have to communicate exactly what you want and not be shy! I had a massage for my birthday with Allison. I just moved so my back has been super tight. I told her exactly the spots I wanted worked on and she did just that. I asked for deep pressure and I’m the type of girl that I want you to hurt me and get those knots out because that’s the only way I’ll feel better. Allison was absolutely amazing. The pressure was just right, I believe she did some trigger point work which really got those knots moving and worked out, she was super professional, very friendly and nice. Great massages at great prices. I have been a member since they opened. My only complaint is you can never get an appointment on short notice anymore. I was always able to call something that day and with my schedule that is part of what I liked best about them. I can’t remember the last time I called that they were not booked for the day. I have hours saved up now and am thinking of cancelling my membership. It is a great place in every other way though.

For the most part the massage therapists are good. I have a monthly program with Massage Envy, but it’s almost impossible to get an appointment. My schedule changes quite a bit and I just can schedule 1-2 months out. I would rate them higher if they had a better system for scheduling.

I have been a member here for over a year now. I don’t know if they just get lazier when you are or what. I don’t get massages to relax, I have a farm and I get knots that I need worked so I can do my job. For three months and through three massages now I have had painful knots at the top of my right glut/far lower back and the front of my shoulder. Every time I go in I tell the masseuse these are what I need worked on and every time they give me a “full body massage” that some how never touches either of these spots. For three months now I have been unable to do everything I need to do to run my farm and I don’t know what I am paying for any more. This place is great if you just want to relax, especially if you travel because they have locations nation wide, but I guess it’s just not for people who really need knots worked out to keep working. I have tried 6 different masseuses and the program is always the same. I tried a 90 minute yesterday hoping that they would get around to what I really need then. Nope.

I first went because I had a gift certificate. I loved it. The facility was welcoming and very nice. I especially appreciated the staff at the desk who were helpful and courteous The masseuse was skilled and very responsive. I felt wonderful after the session and I have since become a member. It’s a great place and I highly recommend it.

I used to talk them up but no more. I went for my massage tonight and was told they contacted me to tell me the girl I scheduled with was no longer with the company. I had no phone call and no message. Tried to reschedule and the first available appointment wasn’t unti June! Terrible management and not enough employees apparently
