The entire staff is so welcoming and kind. The moment I walked in they greeted me by name, and answered all my questions. Alex is my go to! He makes sure to spend more time on the areas that I feel the most pain from and does evaluations that reflect exactly what I feel. He’s able to find all tense areas throughout. If you need a deep tissue massage and would like those painful immobilizing knots to be a thing of the past, Alex is the right fit for you.

My visit didn’t start out as great as I wanted to and almost ended up not staying for my appointment. Shirley was working at the front desk/reception area and did everything she could to make my experience better and patiently convinced me to stay. My 90 min massage was everything I needed and more!! Went here for the first, and only time, a month ago. I went in an hour before closing for a 60-minute massage. I was rushed into the therapy room and given a very strange massage. After the massage, I went back to reception and saw the session had only lasted 40 minutes. I questioned this and the receptionist told me I had booked a 40-minute session. I got into my car and checked the website, no such thing as a 40-minute session, then I saw the receptionist and therapist leaving, and it made sense, they lied to close up early.

Mixed feelings. The room and area wasn’t particularly relaxing. I explained all the areas of concern and focus before the massage began. But I don’t think she heard me or comprehended what I had explained. She spent a lot of time on shoulders and back. Completely ignored the neck. Only spent 30 seconds on each limb, just drying the lotion basically. There was no pressure, no stroke, didn’t feel like a massage for arms and legs at all. When I asked her to add a little pressure to it, she just increased the pressure from 0 to 10 for 5 seconds. She never warmed the lotion in her hands so it always felt really cold. She also started 7 mins late and ended 5 mins early even though I was at the location 10 mins prior to my appt. The price was kinda high to begin with but with the tip and tax added it definitely did not justify to experience.

Alex has been out go-to at this location for ages! He’s hard to nab but oh golly he’ll find spots you never knew were sore! He can get heavy handed but his light pressure might be your medium. Overall would highly recommend this location! The front desk workers are always so sweet as well!

Had a massage today with Alex. Alex does a great job of applying just enough pressure to work out the knots without causing too much discomfort. Within an hour of the massage, there is nothing but a sense of freedom and ease of movement. Massage is a wonderful tool for self-care and complements other healthy lifestyle practices (exercise, meditation, etc.). I resisted massage for many year (modesty, lack of understanding of possible benefit) and now cannot believe how misyaken I was. Thank you for another great exoerience, Alex and Massage Envy!
