Their membership is a scam. I called 8/28, my last membership month, to cancel my membership, and was told my last month was actually in September. I called the first week of September because I thought the first rep I spoke with was wrong, this second rep agreed that the first rep was right after I brought up my concern. On 9/27 I had a massage scheduled, afterwards I, once again, asked the front desk rep about this and she informed me my last month was actually on 8/28 and the last two reps I had spoken with had been wrong. She provided me with the cancellation form. I filled it out and signed it. I asked if it would be an immediate cancellation since there were records on their system about my calls and she said she would put the cancellation form on the manager’s desk along with my request immediate cancellation request. I didn’t hear back. I should have asked for a copy. October 28th comes around and see another charge from Massage envy. I reach out by text about this issue, turns out they can’t find my signed cancellation form! I ask for the manager to give me a call, nothing once again. They tell me they will email me another form and I have yet to receive it today. They offer to refund me the October charge (it’s still on my credit card being disputed) but not the September because the form was signed the day prior the charge and it takes 10 days. How is this my fault when I had been requesting to cancel since the actual last month (August 28th)?! It is now November 28th and I’ve once again been charged for a membership I cancelled months ago?! I’ve left multiple messages for the manager to give me a call to discuss this issue and I haven’t heard back since September. This place is completely unprofessional and a scam!

I had a very unsatisfactory experience with this Massage Envy location. I was gifted a 1hr massage by a friend and was given a very uncomfortable and awkward 36min massage. I spoke to the manager Julia to rectify the situation and without an apology she offered me the option to purchase a 90min massage for the price of a 60min.

SCAM – DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR MEMBERSHIP! They are aggressive to market their membership which is a completely unflexible program. I had a shoulder problem and they had a great therapist who helped with two sessions – but they forced me to sign into a membership program without clearly explaining that you cannot sign out. The original therapist quit and I was given a second HORRIBLE therapist. They will not let me sign out of their year-long membership or transfer it to my partner. Please do not fall for their membership program. It is rigid and expensive. $70 for 12 months.

I have not ever left after a session and been unsatisfied. The staff are always pleasant and courteous. I have not even gone to the same therapist twice (yet) and have always felt comfortable during the session and leave feeling better than when I first walked in prior to the session.

Critical: CommunicationWhatever you do, don’t sign up for the membership. My boyfriend signed up for the membership and wasn’t satisfied with his massage experience and decided to cancel. I called to cancel the subscription and the receptionist led me to believe she was canceling it. She said that someone would follow up to finalize it. They never did. At the same time, I scheduled an appointment to use the massage he had banked. When I went in for the massage it was okay. The massage therapist was nice but I have had better massages. So when I went to check out, the receptionist informed the manager that I wanted to cancel and they started asking me questions about the add-on services and my experience and I told them it was just okay. The manager asked if she had canceled it yet and the receptionist replied not yet. I noticed there was a charge on his debit card for October and when I called, the manager informed me that we couldn’t cancel the membership because he was under contract, which was news to me.
