I arrived to this location on time. I have gotten a massage from Massage Envy a number of times from other locations. This was the worst. I arrived on time. Instead of 60 min massage, I received a 45 minute massage. I thought something changed with service selection. The receptionist advised that clients actually get a 50 minute massage. They allow the 10 minutes for consultation and miscellaneous time as needed. I wasn’t accustom to a 50 minute massage. I guess it’s important to know this. I won’t return back to this location. The location in Rockaway mall is definitely my preferred location. The Massage Envy in Short Hills is also great. My masseuse was decent overall. Her phone vibrated a lot but I did understood why. Having clients pay for a 60 minute massage but informing them that it’s actually 50 minutes seems like false advertisement.

The staff and massage therapists are great. Very kind and flexible, clean facilities along with tailored therapy. Vinny is my massage therapist and he does a great job and getting my muscles relaxed and back to where they need to be due to my high stress job. Highly recommend!!!

Plenty of parking. The receptionist was very pleasant & professional. My therapist applied the perfect pressure, the massage room was clean, perfect temperature, lighting, music was relaxing & massage bed was warm. I was very pleased with everything that I decided to become a member! It is worth the price & I deserve it. Thank you massage envy. I went today for a deep tissue massage & was pleased with the service & extremely relaxing experience. This location is very clean & organized! Plenty of parking. The receptionist was very pleasant & professional. My therapist applied the perfect pressure, the massage room was clean, perfect temperature, lighting, music was relaxing & massage bed was warm. Besides the phenomenal massage I received from Caitlyn, I bought 2 gift cards for Mother’s Day and (with the help of my 4 yr old) lost one. I went to Nicole at the front desk and she was able to pull up my transaction and credit my account with another gift card!!!!!! This is what customer service is supposed to be!!!!! Besides the phenomenal massage I received from Caitlyn, I bought 2 gift cards for Mother’s Day and (with the help of my 4 yr old) lost one. I just had a facial & massage at this facility. The facial was below average. The tech was sweet but new & very unsure of the treatments. She could probably do better if she had some training & guidance. The massage started really well but the therapist spent too much time on my back & then rushed through everything else.

I told the young man (Matt) at the front desk that I wanted one, maybe two massages over the next month or two, and he suggested I sign up for a membership. He didn’t tell me it was for 6 months fixed, he didn’t tell me I couldn’t terminate the contract without proof that I lived more than 30 miles from a massage envy, he hardly told me anything relevant to what I was asking, but I was assuming he had my best interest in mind. That said, their masseuses are well trained.

The worst customer service I have ever had. I went in with my cousin for her birthday for a massage and was advised into doing a membership. I made two consistent payment without using any because of family issues that was going on at the time and call them to cancel. I was told that they would put it on hold until everything was settled and I could use the massages that I had paid for. Fast forward a few month I had two more deaths in my father and really just need to deal with that so I called them to cancel. I was told no problem they would cancel and I could still use the sessions I already paid for. Only to have them keep charging my card. When I called the they young lady I spoke to tells me that I would have to fill out a form to cancel. That was the first time I have ever heard of it. I said no problem. Not only did they not send it I had to call again before they would process my refund and then I was told that because they are cancelling my membership that I could not use the sessions that I paid for already. I have asked to speak to the owner… I am still waiting.

I love indulging in a facial or massage (and often both). I care about great service, and this place hits it on the head. As far as the treatments go, the key is finding someone who’s style meets your preferences and sticking with them. I personally prefer Jackie or Chris for massages, and Carlene for facials. Though to be honest, I’ve never had a bad experience.

This was my first time receiving a facial and it was ok however on my way out the door, I was bombarded with several questions about whether or not I wanted to sign up for a membership and if I wanted to buy their products which the manager tried to pawn off like they were free. No wants to be interrogated after you’ve spent $100 to be RELAXED. I’m a nice person so I went along with the sales pitch but I had to cut her short cause I was getting agitated. Before this experience, I had visited 2 massage spas and they DID not do this. I will not be going back. I give the 2 stars for the lady who actually did my facial, that’s it.
