I have been to a few massage envy’s and have been getting massages for years. This place frequently hires students just out of school and I usually have to go 5 or 6 times to find a therapist who actually knows what they are doing.and even then, their work is not consistent. Perhaps this is because these poor therapists usually make less than $20 an hour. The front desk folks are minimum wage employees who follow protocol but frequently are not professional enough or friendly enough. My suggestion to customers who need real work done with deep tissue massage: read reviews of actual therapists and go there instead. You will pay more but you wont end up lying on the table feeling like you have been duped. If you do not need deep tissue and really want a cheap massage just ask for the lead therapist. This is the therapist who is most requested at any given location. But don’t assume he or she will be available all the time or forever. Massage Envy does not treat their therapists with a lot of respect .They expect them to work like dogs and barely pay them anything so anyone with real skills who want to make this their life’s work won’t be there long.

The overall massage was good however the rest of the experience was lacking. I originally scheduled a 90 minute hot stone massage online, but received a call the night before that it couldn’t be accommodated during my scheduled time. I couldn’t move my appointment so I told them I’ll do a regular massage instead for 90 minutes. I was told to arrive 10 minutes before my time at 1:30, which I did. I was taken back to the massage room after 1:35 and chatted with my therapist who then left for a bit to allow me to change. Once my massage was over I looked at the clock in the room that said it was 2:47. I had booked a 90 minute massage, maybe I had, at most, 70 minutes on the table but I think it was closer to 60-65. When I mentioned this to the front desk they seemed surprised and said they’d ‘check the video’ but noting it was before 3pm it was very obvious I didn’t get close to a 90 minute massage. The good news is they didn’t put a full court press on sales noting the bad experience I had. However no one tried to ‘fix’ the issue and they had no trouble charging me for the full 90 minutes. As I was paying with gift cards I didn’t push much but I don’t plan on returning in the future.

I am a member of another location. Originally joined this location prior to it opening, found the front staff rude. Was never told I would have to pay the “difference” nor was I told I could only transfer one prepaid every 6 months to an individual. When I booked the appointment, I stated the 90 session was for a guest and I was using prepaid sessions. The woman who checked me out also happened to be the individual who booked my appointments. She stated I told you this information and I know she didn’t because I was caught off guard by having to owe money. The woman who I believe was the manager, Jessica, stated it is in the contract. It is also in the text message. Not customer focused at all. In the end, I am happy I left this location many years ago and will not ever go back and will not recommend this location to others. There are many other locations with much better customer service.

I’ve been a member over 11 years and booked an appointment on my birthday. The front desk associate abruptly tells me, I am not member and must pay for the enhancement and gets up and takes a sign off the desk and tells me it’s for their members only. I ask to speak with a manager and she informs me that she is not available and she is the assistant manager. She said the manager would contact me, but it never happened still waiting for that call.This is how long time members are treated. Time to look for other options and somewhere they treat their members better.

I think her name was Vahondra. She was my massage therapist. She really knew her stuff. She was pleasant and had a sense of humour too. Acted as though she truly enjoyed her job and working to honestly help her patients. She didn’t talk unless l talked and then became immediately quiet once l stopped talking. She was in tune with me and her massage one of the best I’ve had in years.

Everything about the experiencevwas lovely. The receptionist were lovely, other customers respectful. I felt safe, the room was cleaned and sterilized. The massage was lovely, calm and relaxing, tech was knowledgeable and listen to my history. I am considering getting a membership. Really they were wonderful, 100% go for it

I have visit this location for a few years now.. I have a few things to say about it: I pay for an hour massage and I get 45 only.. to be honest 35. They talk to you for a few minutes before starting. You get ready, it takes the person to come back at least 5 minutes.. you get your massage and after they are done I always see the time and I still have 10 or 15 left and they have finished.. I get disappointed every time!!!

Great massage with Alexandra at the Verona location. She easily transitioned her pressure throughput my massage depending on my preference. She was on time and courteous which made for a very relaxing experience.
