Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityLet me just start by saying that I typically use the SOUTH WINDSOR location and they are amazing! I couldn’t find an appointment that fit my schedule so against my better judgment I decided to give Canton a try…never again!!! I had to unfortunately cancel my appointment due to a Noreaster that came through the state [12/5/2020] My session was booked for 2pm, I called around 10am when I noticed the snow was starting to accumulate. I explained to woman on the phone who never gave her name… that I hadquite the distance to travel and that I would have to take Avon Mt and I WAS NOT comfortable making the drive as I’ve been in a severe car accident in the snow before! None of that mattered…She told me I would be charged the FULL amount for the session- anyone would be upset by this and I voiced that I thought this was insensitive and quite honestly a terrible way to treat your clientele, basically ripping them off over something that cannot be controlled! She put me on hold and when she returned RUDELY told me I would still have to pay HALF and thats just the way the policy is….So now I’m writing this review because I feel as if I was spoken down to like I was a terrible and of out line client because I wanted to cancel due to my own personal safety and concerns of driving in a winter storm. Also one of my accrued massages from my ME MEMBERSHIP taken away. I understand there’s a cancelation policy for a reason, I have them in my line of work also- but weather and safety of your clientele should be number 1. I will always recommend another massage envy location before this one.
