Michelle was very accommodating and had a warm and gentle presence! I really appreciated that she didn’t talk during the massage—allowed for total bliss! I also liked that she tells you what her plan is before the massage starts. Not only does she plays close attention to your wants and needs, she makes sure you have total assurance of what she’ll be doing. Truly start to finish, it was a great experience. She’s also very strong and uses slow movements to melt all your knots. I got deep tissue and I’m sure Swedish massage would be just as healing. I recommend!

Nikki was super helpful finding a slot that fit in my schedule and Michelle was an absolutely amazing therapist blending just the right balance of conversational and relaxing and her massage was out of this world! Recently had a massage and facial with two other people. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had brought my friend for a special day to celebrate her milestone birthday. We all absolutely loved it. It was my friends first time getting a facial as well and she was glowing not only because of the wonderful facial but, she was so happy with the whole experience. I booked a last minute foot soak for my husband and myself. It was lovely and worth every penny! While our feet were soaking we got a full head/shoulder massage before they even started massaging our feet. Would definitely recommend it as a relaxing part of your trip!

I made an appointment for a massage because my hips were whining after lots of hiking in the park. My therapist, Galen, listened to what I wanted and did a lot of work on my hips. I am always skeptical about booking a massage in a tourist town, but my experience at Massage Bar Harbor was outstanding. I’ll definitely be back next year when we have another extended stay on MDI.
