Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityFoot massage was okay. Table massage was so hard it hurt. When I asked the massage therapist to go lighter, she didn’t understand what I meant, and I had to explain using different English words until she did, then she went so light it wasn’t helpful anymore. I had booked a 60 minute deep tissue, but she quit after 30, and by that point I was so frustrated, I just gave up and left. The foot massage lady was very nice. I really needed a soothing massage and I just left disappointed.Edited to clarify further. I booked a 30 minute foot massage and a 30 minute deep tissue massage. It was supposed to be a 90 minute combo. The front desk person even tried to charge me for both after the appt. The foot massage was very nice. However, the deep tissue table massage was a different story. A massage therapist should understand varying degrees of pressure. If a client says it’s too strong, try a lighter touch. If the client says it’s too soft, try slightly deeper. I also had an employee and her brother (also the massage therapists boyfriend or fiancé) trying to give me or sell me dogs out of their vehicle. I found this highly unprofessional on their point, especially as they pushed the issue when I declined. I came for a relaxing massage, not a dog. I walked away with neither. Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityAmazing full body massage! Very professional and concerned with my comfort. I’ve never had a massage from a male so I wasn’t sure how I would feel but he quickly made me realize I was in good hands! Will definitely return!
