I went to Mary’s because it showed up as near the restaurant I wanted to get take-out from. They let me know I could come as a walk-in in just half an hour. They were able to deal with super long hair–NOT an easy task!–and were generous and kind with the time they spent on my massive head of hair. EVERYONE was so kind–the lady who washed and deep-conditioned my hair, the lady who comed it out, and Mary, who cut it–AND it was such a nice experience to be in a space OWNED by a woman AND occupied all by women.

Does not listen to what you want. Amal and Mary cut both my mother and I. They both were way to fast in the cut. The cut was shorter than what we wanted and no where near the pictures we showed her. No consultation at all. They just kept cutting until we had a mess. Men did walk into the salon twice because she had the door open. Not my salon.

Mary’s been cutting my hair for as long as I can remember and is the ONLY person I allow to cut it. It always grows back stronger and longer. I recently did a Keratin treatment (on 7/28) and I’m so happy with the results. Getting out of the shower and literally not having to do anything to my hair (besides brushing it) is the best thing ever. It dries straight with 0 frizz which is exactly what I wanted! Most of the reviews on here are fake, fyi. Bobby King? Its a woman’s salon you moron. I doubt you’re even real, probably some female competitor who’s failingly trying to disguise herself. Mary has been in business for more than 15 years! She’s clearly doing something right. Thanks Mary, you’re the best!
