Went in with hair down to my waist and requested a few long layers( I was more detailed but will spare people my wordiness). I have been a frequent customer and have come to the salon since I was little. The length when I left the salon was what I had requested but when I got home and dried my hair there was a thick layer that doesn’t even reach my shoulders. I need to be able to put my hair in a ponytail for lab at my college and I can’t do that anymore. I can’t curl my hair and wear it like I regularly do either. To go to people that know me and how I like my hair and have this happen is horrible. She also thinned it out without asking me. I know that it helps blend layers but because I am losing my hair a little I don’t like it thinned out too much. I have learned that it doesn’t matter how specific I describe how I want it, you never know what you’re going to get here. However I do recommend the stylist Maria. She is always careful to listen and ask before she does anything to your hair. She also never rushes a hair cut just because the salon is busy and most of her clients that are regulars are happy to wait and have her do it. I don’t want to name the stylist that cut my hair this time as I realize this is her career but anyone who likes they’re hair long and thick be warned.
