I met Martha’s salon a few months ago, since the first time I was very well received, the professionals always smiling and talking, I was attended by Erica, a great professional, left my hair super cool. gave me change tips, how my hair would look if it cut in a certain way. as a man, it’s hard to change the look of years, but I accepted the proposal, and I loved the tip. It’s really good. the location is easy to access, very simple to schedule times. and no matter what language the person speaks, there will always be a professional next to you whether in English, Spanish or Portuguese. I recommend you all to meet Martha’s salon.

I’m torn about how to rate this place because they did give me a nice haircut despite some issues. The biggest issue is that some of the staff is not fluent in English. I totally support a bilingual business, but it’s awkward when you only speak English and are assigned a hairdresser who only speaks Spanish. I’m used to chatting with hairdressers as they do my hair, but I basally had to sit in silence and have the secretary translate any requests to my hairdresser. They should try to have staff available who can speak the language of whoever’s coming in for an appointment. They also seemed understaffed, or had overbooked when I arrived. They had their high school secretary wash my hair, but she didn’t wash or rinse my hair out properly, leaving shampoo in it, so a hairdresser had to redo it (after she was finished with her client). Lastly their prices were much higher than the estimate I was given when I asked in advance.

All the good things that they say about John are so true! I came in for a long overdue cut and left also with highlights and my eyebrows all cleaned up. After moving to the area, and having a really hard time finding a salon, I found Martha. And she is AMAZING!! I always get full highlights and a haircut when I see her, and she does a fabulous job every time. Her prices are extremely affordable too, which is wonderful considering how astronomical some of the prices at salons in the area can be.
