Made an appointment for my bridal party and I, didn’t get started until 30 minutes after, continuously stopped helping us to help walk ins, completely forgot about 2 of us multiple times, took 45 minutes to paint my toes ONE COLOR, and clipped my skin so far back I bled. Then made a rude comment about no tip when I had asked them multiple times to give me the total amount before I paid for it. Absolutely the worst service. Made an appointment for my bridal party and I, didn’t get started until 30 minutes after, continuously stopped helping us to help walk ins, completely forgot about 2 of us multiple times, took 45 minutes to paint my toes ONE COLOR, and clipped my skin so far back I bled. Then made a rude comment about no tip when I had asked them multiple times to give me the total amount before I paid for it. Rude people, terrible service, and horrible quality.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’m going to be completely honest when I say that I never write reviews, especially not negative ones. However, this salon absolutely shocked me. Not only were they rude to my friend and I, but they are extremely expensive for the low quality manicure that you receive. Only come here if you plan on getting a pedicure and terrible attitudes. I got a full set of acrylics WITHOUT gel and it was $45! I asked the nail lady how much it was going to cost for the manicure two times and she yelled at me saying that I would “find out at the front table”. So I wasn’t surprised when they tried to rip me off and say it was $45. They then changed their mind after I already paid and said it was $40 and then handed me $5 back, which was pretty odd and unprofessional. I had tried my best to be nice to the lady doing my nails but every time I said something she would give me a dirty look. If you go to Jackson Nail, they only charge $25 for a full set, are extremely nice, and perform outstandingly in their work. For $20 less, you might as well go to Jackson Nail or really anywhere else but Martell Nails. I am writing this review 2 days after I got my nails done and both my friend and I already had two nails fall off and one of mine cracked. I’m going to be completely honest when I say that I never write reviews, especially not negative ones. However, this salon absolutely shocked me. Not only were they rude to my friend and I, but they are extremely expensive for the low quality manicure that you receive. Only come here if you plan on getting a pedicure and terrible attitudes. We got sat down and he asked me if I wanted gel and I said yes and he said okay no extra charge and then at the end he said $15 extra charge for gel. Before he starts he asked me what color I wanted and me already knowing I wanted pink he asked what number polish witch he didn’t even give me the options of pink. I have a dark spot on my nail that easy to cover up and have had no problems with covering it up at other salons. We got sat down and he asked me if I wanted gel and I said yes and he said okay no extra charge and then at the end he said $15 extra charge for gel. Within 2 weeks I had to have lashes replaced as they only stayed on 3 days each time. Went back and Lily put another set and charged me full price. She did not care and did not listen that the glue was old, I will not refer anyone. Poor business practices. I will make the drive to Elk Grove to see my regular lady. There first time they were overly busy and me and my mom decided to go somewhere else, one of the nail ladies didn’t let us go because she wanted customers .
