I have been seeing Leah for almost 20 years. She is wonderful. She listens to what you envision and then does her magic. It’s more than just a haircut, mani, wax and color. We have watched our kids grow up (my daughter now is a client) and we’ve been supportive through the joys and challenges of life. The other stylists are friendly and welcoming as you enter. It’s a big family.

I waited a week for a hair highlight and cut at 3:30. Finally my appointment comes. I get Leigh. We discuss what I want and she adds the highlights. Then another lady shows up, with really long hair and she preps highlights for half her hair. She washed my hair out an hour later and then says she’s just going to finish prepping the other lady’s hair. I ask if any of the other three hairdressers, who were sitting there doing nothing, can cut my hair and Leigh says no and informs me that she always DOUBLE BOOKS. I left.

I walked in there hoping for light blue even though I had almost black hair. But I was open to suggestions as this was not the first time I had gone black and wanted something different. I told the woman doing my hair, Shawna, that I could go for dark blonde, so sbe started toning and bleaching and stripping the dye already in. It was a grueling process that left the back of my head bruised and my scalp sore. I was not happy with the first day, but what did I expect, this was almost my natural hair. I went in after a couple days to let my hair relax and get ready for dye. Now remember how I said I could go for dark blonde? Well the owner/manager, Margaret I think, suggested red. I loved the idea and wondered how I didn’t think of it myself. This process was much better and came out great. Very pleased!

What a wonderful place. Christina actually did a better job on the color and cut and brows than any hairdresser I’ve ever had before and I have been very lucky in the past. The shop and the girls make you feel right at home. Was a great experience. MarShels and Christina will always be my go to place from here on out.
