Marleys is such a wonderful establishment. They are polite and kind every time I go! I have thick, long natural hair and could be seen as a nightmare to an inexperienced braider. Marleys Always welcomes me with open arms. I have never had a bad experience at Marleys! All of her technicians are professionals and are not afraid of a challenge! My entire family uses Marleys Braiding! If you looking for overall braiding expertise Marleys is the place to go!

Really 4.5/5 stars. My wife has been multiple times for knotless braids and is usually pleased with her result. They are fast and often work as a team to get braids done sooner than later. Yesterday one of the helpers used knotted braids in the nape of the neck area making them immovable and different from the others. My wife wasn’t pleased because knotless costs more and no remedy was offered (not even a real apology, just a “sorry they look different.”). Even a $20 discount for the next time would have been nice (again, the braids are too expensive to not get what you paid for). This is the reason for the -0.5.

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI had been coming to Marley since October 2020 for my girls. My baby girl had a 4 PM appointment booked today and when I walked in there was one lady in the chair being serviced and another one to get her hair washed. I waited for 45 mins and we decided to get something to eat and come back. On my way back, I get a text from Marley saying she couldn’t service me today and that I could bring my daughter back tomorrow at 8 AM!This was very unprofessional and I wasted 2 hours of my Saturday for a service that was booked weeks in advance and still didn’t get service. I had been coming to Marley since October 2020 for my girls. My baby girl had a 4 PM appointment booked today and when I walked in there was one lady in the chair being serviced and another one to get her hair washed. I waited for 45 mins and we decided to get something to eat and come back. Found Miss Marley Miss Amy Miss Dorcas and Miss Christelle over at Marly’s Braids & Weaves on Rufe Snow. I took my daughter there first to get her hair done before school started and normally my daughter gets a hairstyle and it’s gone bad within two weeks! Two weeks after getting her hair braided my daughters hair still looks great. So I scheduled my appointment and I am the most tender headed grown woman I know and she only made my eyes well with tears once (they didn’t fall) and it felt good. Good enough to fall asleep! Marly’s will be our shop for life!! I would like to Start by saying that the place is very clean. The lady’s were for the most part very nice. That being said the lady who braided my hair was very rough. She braided my hair way to tight. She also kept pulling extremely hard when finishing the braid. I went to get my hair braided Friday of last week. It is now Wednesday less than a week later. I will have to take the braides down as they are way to tight and causing traction alopecia. I would like a refund due to the damage caused.
