Some people need to stick to strictly blow dry and wash. Do not let everyone flat iron your hair because the skill level is low as heck for a big price to walk out with work that looks like you could have done it yourself. Super annoyed even more mad at myself that when I asked for things to be fixed. They say” you’re beautiful” so they don’t have to fix their garbage work. I’ve been going to Marisol’s salon for about 14 years. I’ve tired a few other Dominican salons and no one does my hair as well as Marisol. I have very kinky hair and for years I’ve went to hair salons for a relaxer and my hair was straight but I didn’t have body or I would have body with very thick hair and not be straight. I’m not saying they are the cheapest but I don’t feel like this is the most expensive place to go. I can’t speak on the other ladies that work there, but they all are nice and Marisol knows my hair and she keeps my hair looking great.

This salon is not the same anymore… As soon as I walked in I felt uncomfortable. They seemed to annoyed with me and the services I wanted. I asked for shampoo and conditioning and blow dry and my ends CUT/TRIMED. Nothing MORE!! The lady rushed me at the wash bowl and barley conditioned my hair! Then when it was time to pay they charged me 70 dollars!!! Because the lady gave me layers I didn’t ask for layers I asked for my ends to be TRIMED. This is not the same Marisol from 2016 they have changed tremendously I miss the old girls that was there in the beginning these new lady’s are rude and unprofessional laughing and talking about you as soon as you walk in. I will not be coming back here… charging me for things I didn’t ask for!

I loved my experience. I went to get my damaged hair cut into a style so as to have it grow back healthier. And was very pleased. Update 3 months later.. I still love this place! My hair is growing back healthy and strong.

I’ve visited a few times but the last time I went I was very disappointing. I made appointments for myself and my two daughters, they spoke in Spanish about rushing us out, why I don’t know, we are kind and my children are extremely respectful and well behaved paying customers. They rushed through my hair, and although I asked for a trim the lady told me “next time”. I was disappointed but I still left a 20 dollar tip, only to be told she also charged me 20 extra dollars. At that point I was upset because the service was NOT worth a 40 dollar tip, and my hair did not look it was done professionally, it looked kinda bad. My daughter’s hair both looked great, they both got the trim. But mine suffered. I really want my money, at least the tip, back but I’m too nice to ask and I’m definitely not going back. I DO NOT recommend.

Horrible experience! I went to get my daughters hair done and the prices clearly state $45 but she charged me $65. Also I specifically told her not to cut my daughters hair but she did it anyway and then told me she needed it and that it was only a little bit. I will NEVER go back here again. They use too much heat, rush you, and do three peoples hair at once. Horrible experience

My daughter and I come here often but this past weekend was IT! They were not here on time, they put people in front of us, and the owner Marisol came in late and greeted the Spanish speaking customers but did not greet us! Didn’t even look our way! My daughter felt uncomfortable so we left and found a Dominican Salon with a better customer service experience and they were amazing! This was not the first time but it definitely was the last!
