Awesome, awesome, awesome! I absolutely enjoy getting my locs done by Marinette. We always have such memorable conversations and she doesn’t usually use too much product in my hair. I want my locs to be as clean as possible and she does a good job of ensuring that. Always very accommodating even when I had to add a last minute service. She is friendly, knowledgeable and I felt at ease . SO efficient! Very happy with the results, my locs look beautiful.

I had an extremely sketchy experience trying to get my hair done. I called “Marinette” from her listing on StyleSeat, made an appointment and she gave me her new address which is 547 Haverstraw Road in Suffern. I pulled up to what looked like a very run down abandoned house at my scheduled time and when I called her three times to let her know I had arrived she did not answer the phone. I had my mom call her number to see if she would answer and she answered right away, so it was clear that she was specifically ignoring my call. The house was very creepy and unkept and it didn’t seem like any type of hair establishment was being run out of it. I was left with a very uneasy feeling when she ignored my several calls, I feel like she may have had ulterior motives and chose to ignore me when she saw that I didn’t come alone (I was with my mom). Beware!
