I love this spot.. after discovering it a few months ago, I have been a regular customer. As a very busy Entrepreneur I appreciate the owners quick professionalism and attention to detail when cutting my hair. I also don’t mind the mild cigarette smell (as stated in another review) in the over 30 year old barbershop, but hey I was born in the 70’s and this actually brings back memories of getting my ears lowered as a kid! But what do I know, I also ride a bike back then without a helmet and knee pads and drank water from a garden hose. Give this place a try if you are looking for a quality cut for a great price.

This is the first hair cut I’ve gotten in Marina, and I wanted a good mans haircut, not too fancy, not too old fashioned, and certainly not a bargain cut that looks like my mom cut my hair. This guy was not much for words, not rude but straight to the point – sit down, what would you like, cut my hair with skilled hands, told me the price ($13) and gave me a polite smile and said goodbye. This is pretty much the perfect place for a man who doesn’t want to spend a whole lot, but doesn’t want a crap job. I went in on friday and he had a sign that said “closed until 12:30” so he might have weird hours. But I would definitely recommend this place

You can tell by how this barber acts and talks that he knows about hair. Unfortunately I couldn’t experience that. I have eczema in my scalp. I made sure I took a shower before going so I wouldn’t disgust him. The barber said he didn’t want to cut my hair and made an excuse as far as saying that my hair was hopeless. My husband gets his haircut here. They do a good job but the guy that owns it is a major smoker and the whole place just reeks of cigarettes. When you open the door it just snacks you in the face.
