A decent spa experience, they were willing to take walk-ins which worked out for me. Got a full body massage which was relaxing and indepth, but compared to other spa parlors it is not as fancy, the ambience is very very basic specially since the price point is similar to other establishments.

Frequently walked past this place so wanted to give it a try. Pretty disappointed with my pedicure, lasted only a week before chipping. In regards to the service-Came for same day appointment and had to leave before finishing my full appointment. My skin was knicked or stabbed 3 separate times during my pedicure and that’s sort of my limit. Salon wasn’t really updated nor was it very clean.

I feel like I didn’t get my money worth with the foot reflexology, the technician nipped my skin a few times on the manicure my thumb started to bleed. Everyone was polite. The owner initially offered a discount but when it was time to pay she didn’t stick to that offer.

Bought a Groupon to this place. I don’t know where to begin with the experience I had last night at “Marietta’s Day Spa and Salon”. First of all, the Groupon I bought was apparently for a completely different place and address. This is NOT Sunny Gabriella’s Salon. I called them last Friday to make an appointment for yesterday at 6:00 p.m. I called them yesterday to ask if it was BYOB. She said yes and that my appointment was for 4:00 pm. I said no, I remember calling you and making it for 6 because i work until 5. She said no come at 430 then. I said I can’t leave work before 5. She said, “Whatever come at 5:30”. I was with my friend who bought the same Groupon. We walked in and two other people arrived, all for appointments at 530. (There were only three people, one person for the Pedicure). We were told to all go pick out our colors. As I was looking at the display, one woman says, “Don’t look at those colors. Those are mine. Go look over there.” I can’t believe how horrible they treated everyone. I get my pedicure done after my friend, after waiting an hour. My friend never received a nail trim, scrub or lotion. (I did thankfully) The woman never filed my nails down and it was extremely rushed and not relaxing. I am now up for my no chip manicure where the woman was complaining how her back hurt and how they close at 6. (It was 715 at this point). She told me that she can tell that I don’t take care of my nails and how I had too much skin to take off. She ruined two of my nails my clipping and filing them WAY TOO SHORT. I also noticed that there were NO certificates for them to be nail techs, NO sterilization for their utensils AND there were ants all over the bathroom. She used the same paper towel as the girl before me where I saw her skin and her nail polish everywhere. My friends nail polish was ruined when she put her shoes on. And my nail polish is already chipping off. I can’t explain how disgusting I am with this place. I would have rather spent $100 to get a nice respectable Mani/Pedi than this Groupon. We were there for two and a half hours. Two and a half hours of disappointment and getting disrespected. I can’t believe how I was treated. I feel bad for anyone who buys a Groupon here or spends their money here.

Well this experience was one for the books. I bought there Groupon to save a little money. I bought the no chip manicure and regular pedicure.

This was definitely a great experience! Hosted a baby shower here and the girls were all great! Marietta gave the best massage & manicure I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be going back next time I’m in Chicago.

I would give a negative start review if possible. I bought a groupon and tried booking appointment at this place and the lady who works there was not open on any days as soon as she came to know that I have a groupon. Finally she gives me an appointment after 3 weeks and that too she cancels on the day of appointment. Moreover, she was super rude and was not flexible at all.

I had a massage at Marietta’s last Friday. I get a massage twice a month because of stress and related back, neck, leg issues. I am not from Chicago, and this was THE BEST MASSAGE I have ever had. She gave me a medical massage (which I needed) and I feel so much better. I know it wasn’t Marietta that gave me the massage, but kudos to the girl that did. Sorry I didn’t catch her name.

I didn’t even get a chance to schedule my appointment over the phone, the most rude lady I spoken with answered me and treated me horribly.

Not worth your money, even with the Groupon. Owner and technicians were crabby and rude, go somewhere else! I was more stressed out after my Mani and pedi here.
