If I had read the reviews before patronizing this shop, I definitely would have taken my business elsewhere. The attitude of the person doing my two expensive braids was the worst! I understand now why she was sitting there playing with the baby and didn’t have any customers…learn how to treat customers with respect and maybe your shop would have been as busy as the surrounding shops on Marlboro Pike. Also, it’s very rude of you to speak in your language to your co-worker when I asked you a question. Either you can do what I asked or not, don’t talk trash about me! I did catch a few words but be very glad I’m very rusty with the French language.

I Had great experiences when I went here in 2018 I got braids done every 2 weeks. I enjoyed the professionalism and the quickness of the person doing my hair. I didnt get her name but she was great.. Now I have locs I may have to use them for loc maintenance one day but for now my high school buddy have done it.

I went and got box braids done and they were very cute, I got compliments from a lot of people but the braids started coming out in two weeks. When I went back to get the front done which was only 8 braids the owner wanted to charge me $60 I walked out. I’ll never go there again in life

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI got my hair done on 3rd of June and EVERY SINGLE DAY BRAIDS FELL OUT! Two weeks later 20 braids fell out in one day! No refunds. Which they don’t tell. Supposedly it’s a no refunds sign up. Never saw a sign saying no refunds. Not even a partial refund. Then she offered to redo my hair but if you didn’t do it securely the first time when you took my money why would I come back. She jacked the price up as she did my hair and they didn’t have a supply of hair which they didn’t tell me until I got there and I informed her what style I wanted and what hair it required. I had been going to this salon for over ten years. My daughter received box braid before going out of town. Within one week these braids were a mess. When I called Marie France’s she said it’s not her fault. If the braids didn’t look good on the day she had them done I should have said something. Box braids are not supposed to last long, not even a week. There was nothing she could do for me. $100 wasted on on a five day hairstyle.

I would have gave this salon no stars but i couldn’t rate less then this I went to get individual box braids in June of this year in my hair 160 was how much she charged me the store owner Marie Frances was suppose to do my hair at 9:00 she didn’t get there 11:30 when I was about to leave she showed up with and attitude and. Said she didn’t need my money and after a few days my braids began to fall out all over it look like I went swimming and Marie never finished my hair she asked another girl to do my hair when I asked her to do it I tried to go back to get it fix and she was rude hung up on me and said she couldn’t help me and to add insult to the injury I took my hair out and I had bold spots around my edges I had box braids before in the past and I never suffered hair loss. Her entire staff is rude and unprofessional and shows up to work late I would never ever go back to this salon and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here unless you like being balded after receiving braids in your hair only wearing it for three weeks. And also the pic above with the hand holding the braid with the strands of hair sticking out the braid is how my hair looked three days after get it done

I went there today will not be going back. You are not greeted when you walk in. One of the employees was stretched out sleep on one sofa and her kids were sleep on the other sofa. Shoes and toys sprawled out across the floor. Where are paying customers to sit while waiting. Nicole is the person who did my hair and did not do good job. It took her more than one hour to do six braids. They speak to each other they dont interact with their customers. They are rude and greedy.

I got bomb twist on July 6 and in exactly 2 weeks, I needed my edges redone bcuz they were coming out really bad!!! $230 is way too much to spend on a hairstyle that last not even 2 weeks.
