New to the area so I gave this salon (Roseville location) a shot. I came in for a haircut and color but only ended up receiving a haircut. The haircut was good, however, I was disappointed to find out during my appointment that they were out of hair color product (a standard medium brown color). The stylist was apologetic and even offered a discount for the inconvenience which I did appreciate but did not take advantage of. I found a another salon that is better managed.

I spoke to Colleen who ended up being my stylist and she fit me into her schedule at 2pm. Her day was a bit busy and my appt had to be delayed about 30 mins which was fine given the such short notice I gave her.It was a miracle that I was able to book an appt at all given the 4 other places I tried were busy, full or appt only or closed. She took my instructions well, I showed her a picture to help with the idea I wanted and told her off handedly that for color I wasn’t entirely sure but I liked the copper/red color (of her own hair) and I had also gotten blond last time too. With that she crafted something truly fun and spectacular. Taking a chance and adding more red and a bit of almost highlighter orange to my naturally brown hair the end result is so super cool. Like a flame or something it looks very pleasing to the eye and the cut length is perfect to what I had wanted.After having my sister be my stylist for so long and giving me a family discount before I stopped going to her, I was prepared to pay more this time. I additionally bought some recommended shampoo and tipped $20 making my bill around 250 total. Which for what I expected to pay isn’t all that bad honestly. For the quality of service, the end result and the such short notice it was very much worth every penny and I think I’ve found my new stylist! 🙂 Thanks a million Colleen!
