The first photo shown was my hair 3 days before I went there.My hair is as dead as it can be. There’s no day that whenever I comb my hair, there’s a big hand of hair on my comb.I called back too, and of course, the Hispanic women was so unprofessional just like the rest! They start raising their voices when they do not like what you say! I wasn’t even saying anything all I said if I can get a refund. I called before as well and the lady just hang up on me and this was her words “Listen to me lady, you have to understand bla bla bla…” Are you kidding me?Learn a lesson from me, please. I don’t speak Spanish so from the beginning the communication wasn’t there . Shampoo lady did a good job even offered a deep condition. I originally went for just a blow out but then decided to get a little trim with some layers, stylist ended up cutting 4-5 inches off my length and then more with the layers after I said a little. She didn’t even show me how much she was going to cut off . During the blow out session she burned my scalp and pulled ALOT . I am a hairstylist myself so I know how things work . I have fine to medium textured hair so it doesnt take a lot for it to be smooth and she kept going over my hair with a curling iron, I could start to smell the heat coming off my hair . Overall the cut is not bad looking just upset that more was cut off then I wanted to be

I actually have been here three time and I will say my hair came out nice. My hair is natural curly 4c. But one thing I don’t like is the communication the lady who washed my hair the last time doesn’t speak English and the language barrier is not good because with my hair you have to detangle starting from the bottom and she was constantly trying to run a small rat tail comb through the top of my hair which you can not do you will break all of our hair off !!!! Please be mindful of how to detangle our hair we appreciate and love your services but would like our hair treated with care we don’t want to deal with breakage and damaged hair. And please don’t run the flat iron on one spot more than 5 times you will burn our hair. Thank you.!!

I went to get a wash And roller set on my hair And had a great experience. I brought my daughter who has way more hair than me And they couldn’t handle it. She did my hair perfect so bc she had a lot of hair I think they just were busy and didn’t want to deal with it. This isnt to bash the business . They were professional and attentive. But if you have thick natural hair I would go elsewhere. It’s Tough finding salons on Long Island that do natural hair but Not everyone can handle all textures. I think that was the only issue here. I would come here again for myself no problem.

Very little inside in the back and they had at least 8 women cramped up in that area plus the stylists just was uncomfortable and if you don’t speak Spanish I wouldn’t recommend you going here. I went here I don’t speak Spanish so everything had to be translated by the girl at the front desk. I was getting my hair dyed, getting highlights, trimmed, and blow dry. First the stylist was rude she had hair dye all on my forehead and neck and never wiped off til she rinsed my hair out then she soaked my whole back when rinsing my hair out and when I got home I seen she had dye on the back on my jacket. First and last time I will be going there.

I will never be going there again and neither will my mom. My own mother was like that’s messed up!!! I won’t be supporting them either because no one in the right mind will give someone and appointment then turn them away when you get there.
