I’ve been going to Miriam’s for 10 years and the last 2 appointments I had were both very disappointing. I was overcharged for what I got, first time I paid 260 for twist locks. My hair wasn’t full at however very neat so I paid and went because it was already late. This time I was told it would be 1 hour wait and I got to Miriams at 3:35 and sat in the chair at 7:23 and the first braid went in my scalp at 8. I paid for notless braids and got some with nots some without. I paid 160 for 40 braids my mother or best friend could’ve done this for free. I really loved going here because I built a relationship with Miriam, I’ve been to family events and she’s even met some of my family. She wasn’t at the shop this day and it’s sad to say I won’t be coming here anymore unless I have an emergency. I will be looking for a different hair braiding salon for my next style my hair was tied up when completed so I didn’t notice how many braids were in my hair until I got home around 11. By the way a live a little over 1 hour away

Don’t bring your kids to get their hair done here. After telling the stylist not to braid tight she braided my daughters hair tight causing her to cry. Had to take the braids out. Poor professionalism, even after scheduling an appointment they allow several people to go before your scheduled time. From morning to night waiting to get braids done.

I got long Knotless box braids. Made sure my hair was clean and straighten. The big lady was pulling and pushing my head roughly. They never clean they combs just jump right to the next head. They eat and don’t wash their hands. They had 3 ladies doing my hair at once pulling it more all for the big lady To come and have to take the top out and redue it. It’s been 3 days my scalp is irritated like never b4 I have blisters in some spots and my edges are probably gone smh. Don’t come here. Check out MIMI In Wilkes barre

Worst experience ever braiding my hair. First she did not do the style i asked for she did what she wanted and over charged me $160 for 10 box braids !!!!! Didnt even finish putting the rubber band at the ends because she notice i wasnt happy. Now my braids ate getting loose after 2 days. She took time to eat and everything and did not consider the fact that she did not do what i asked and over charged me because she tought i wasnt going to tip. Super disrespectful and unorganized didnt have a durag for me to bye. And i had to pay extra for edge control.
