I’ve been going to Mariah for almost 10 years, she is the best! It took a while to find someone good at blonde highlights in Seattle and have never left since finding Mariah. She’s amazing with color/toner and she’s also very time-efficient, which is an incredible combination to find! She’s also hilarious and wonderful to be around! Bonus for great music playing, tea and new magazines, easy parking, location right next to Madison Kitchen; so thankful Mariah is in Madison Park!

Aurora did a blowout (shampoo & blowdry). I brought my own shampoo & conditioner because I had keratin straightening on my hair and need specific products. The back of my hair didn’t get shampooed and I had to point it out. It took her an entire hour to and she charged me $60! She’s been doing this six months. She dried small strands of hair with my back to the mirror the entire time. After sitting there for 40 minutes, the owner offered me a magazine. Couldn’t believe the price for an inexperienced stylist and the length of time it took. My hair is normally blown out between 20 to 40 minutes tops. I work in a salon I can get it done every 5 days and my style (bob) lasts for 5 days. I woke up this morning and my hair was completely flat!! Very disappointing

I have been cutting my hair with Mariah for more than 5 years now and she is just amazing. I love how she cuts my hair and how much she knows about colors and what will suit my hair. Every time I go see her I just sit there and she does her thing which always turns out amazing. Not just her hair styling skills but Mariah has a beautiful soul and she always makes me feel happy. Mariah has been doing my cut and color for over two years now. It’s not easy to find someone who can both cut AND color well, but Mariah does. Also, for those with especially thick, wavy/curly hair, she knows what to do. Also at this salon is Vanessa who does my husband’s hair and regularly cuts my tween/teen daughters’ hair. She’s also wonderful if you’re looking for an alternative at Mariah’s salon.

Mariah has been my go to stylist for a long time. My previous stylist could do a good cut but never got my color right despite multiple conversations about what I felt was best for me. My hair continued to get lighter than I liked and had morphed into what I called Barbara Walters brassy blond! Naturally I am a brunette with red undertones! Thankfully Mariah listened to my thoughts and needs rescuing me from the Barbara blond. She is amazing at both cut and color plus can style for special events on trend.
